Manu is a chump compared to Moubu and Kanmei, he just wasn’t strong enough to make Moubu go all out
Honestly Man'U dominated that fight. Even during the last exchange Moubu wanted to charge him bit Man'U smacked him back and ended the fight.
Moubu definitely underperformed imo and I think he's stronger for sure. I mean Shin struggles against Futei and Jyoukaryuu so it isn't a big deal.

Man'U is literally the opposite of "some random Chu lord", he is an outsider that is so strong and troublesome to Chu, they gave him his own fief so he'd stop smashing their armies.
We've seen what "a main Chu general" looks like in Rin Bu Kun. He was formidable, but Tou nevertheless folded him like a cheap suit and kept it moving.

The only Chu with a chance of surpassing Man'U are Kou Yoku and whoever Kou En's bruiser will be.

Hara didn't make Karin as big as Kanmei as one of the few only females with such ridiculous size, having her showcase that strength by killing an officer with a kick just for her to not be relevant martially.

Man’U is definitionally some random Chu Lord. He is just one lord of one Chu territory. A strong Chu territory to be sure but otherwise irrelevant to Chu overall.

I imagine Chu quite literally has dozens of generals like Sento Un or Gen’U. I think it was Rokuomi who even said you can’t cross the street in Chu without running into Generals who are former Great Generals/heads of state for destroyed states. If you think Man’U is unique in Chu, you are in for a rude awakening.

97 is a fucking upper top tier stats in strength and only the cream of the crop of fighters can reach that

Man U has no a link to one of the main general of the story and the general who is linked to strength. And he was already quite strong but Man U with a reason to fight and weight will be even more monstrous.
