Oden is the sole reason Wano is being held back from being a great arc imo. That's not a light problem though cause he's the most important figure linked to this arc.
Pros
-Act 1 was great, straight to the point (Kaidou didn't waste any time showing up and putting Luffy to bed)
-Resurgence of Zoro back to relevancy (playing a pivotal role throughout, bonding with Yasu, Hiyori, gaining enma)
-Roger and WB stuff in the flashback was cool to see (major keys to the end of OP with the laugh tale chapter)
-Rooftop chapters were great, pleasantly surprised Oda didn't offpanel 95% of it.
Cons
-Oden and anything to do with his family (arguably the worst written character in One Piece, started off on a good note, got progressively worse, ended horribly)
-Nearly the entirety of the prison scenes in Act 2 (way too much time wasted on nonsense, killed the seriousness of the situation) , could have taken this time fleshing out the tobi roppo or something.
-Bloating the arc with unnecessary interactions (why the hell did we have the Scabbards get utterly wrecked by Kaidou in an epic fight, only to have them magically healed and back in the mix?)
-Lack of tension (again, why are the scabbards up again? The alliance already has enough mouths to feed, almost seems overkill)
Despite all its faults it's still one of the better post skip arcs, which should tell you how disappointing post skip has been. Arc's far from over though, there's definitely set up for it to get better, since we're getting some of the biggest most meaningful fights since pre timeskip.
