Indeed, not always and most of the time aren't. I was told that hard-scientists were the most ignorant about the nature of their science.
without being aware of what we dont yet know you cant do any actual research though. and the scientific field is competitive, so everyone is questioning the next motherfucker.

Don't tell me you missed the pillars of storytelling, the subtext and the final glue that finally sticks all the loose ends together after all seemed lost?😢
apparently its a good thing i missed that lol.

Is this why many natural scientists are vehement proponents of atheism?
while being more likely to be atheists, wasnt the rate still fairly even for religious affiliation vs no religious affiliation?

you mean you repeated what we have been saying from the get-go and you didnt actually add any substance? no i didnt miss that.

But i was referring to this:

i also didnt miss you typing this:

and then saying you cant describe what this minimum of respect even is.
oh i forgot to add these two quotes to my post here^
If I post a paragraph of more than 15 lines, will you read it with attention?

Wise choice.
He was kicked out of the nakama thread and they had to open a new one over this nonsense. Bro was losing it big time to the point people assumed he has to be a highly dedicated troll.
you are tempting me to open the can of worms :pepecroc:

Wait until he's in the mood to elaborate on this one so we can finally show him the respect his Majesty deserves and MAYBE he'll lower himself to our humble ranks and post his Great Big Explanation every man, woman and child has been waiting for all their lives.

In the meantime let's sing God Shave the King.
i will rather "sing" Jesus war geil by edgar wasser ;D

Mods didn't like the fact that I brought political discussion to One Piece and the Nakama thread on top of questionning their moderation. To this day, they are still refusing me the entry of this thread for this very reason

yes in this sad attempt to tell me how to give you "minimum respect", you jumped to "deep respect" and "leap of faith".

Good job my guy
Yeah. Because minimum was not enough. To really listen to something that can shaken our own biases, we need to have a form of deep respect for the other side. Enough to negate the biases that comes with listening. It's a form of leap of faith. I think it's the best way to describe this process. At least that's how it feels to me everytime I take it

Right, it's the same kinda escalation he used for the carrot will join agenda:kobeha:
Indeed. It's quite logical, both were political battles.

'Leap of faith' in this context sounds as funny as 'final glue'.
Same energy.
Man please, take a step back and think about your worstgen 'career'. For years you're using the same argumentation patterns for different topics, each time you fall for major logical fallacies and then when you feel driven into a corner, your posts become incoherent word salad dripping with arrogance and full of name calling.

Please do some soul searching.

Indeed. I'm using the same tactic. I create impactfull concepts in order for you to understand adn remember them rapidly. But whether they are relevant or not is a completely different matter.

Do not make the mistake of thinking that because I create these concept the same way, they have the same weight. All of this is coherent.

Please do some soul searching.
And, really... you should drop the forum troll facade. It prevents you from looking at the subtilities of other people's argumentations. You really have no moral lesson to give me on this basis.

Just write your post already !
Am I not enough for you?

I'm not a normal poster on this forum. I have a goal: For this forum to be a more positive place. So do not be surprised if I'm not talking like other people here. I need to find solutions to convince everyone and potentially or not change things so ofc this can create conflicts or weird interactions and weird speech patterns/argumentations. It's time for you people to accept that. (no matter if I succeed or not)

Probably won't come tonight. You hook me into a discussion. I can't concentrate on it at the moment.

You were banned for repeatedly bringing real world politics into a One Piece thread and constantly calling people racist, sexist, and misogynists as a counter argument to them not believing Carrot would be a SH or big player.

Still warping the facts to fill your fantasy of being a revolutionary. Gorilla out.

Since you mentioned gorillas and have a monkey pfp, I want to mention, personally I think the way Kizaru dresses looks like banana ice cream

"constantly" lmao. You must come from Marseille. But yeah, that's what I meant by bringing polititics and exposing the moderation there. There were problems then and there are still problems now of unmoderated sexism, sanism, transphobia, racism etc. ALL OVER this forum. And it's not because of Carrot. But I can only speak about it here since it's a political section. If I try doing it elsewhere, I'll be moderated.

''Just believe me, I have a lot to say, I will challenge and change all your beliefs and I deserve a lot of respect''

If he were Christian he'd be a missionary of some cult.

You know how the old saying goes - you either die a villain, or live long enough to become an even bigger villain and and then still die :gokulaugh:
Ooooh nonono someone is about to celebrate a guy's death within the next 2 years:shocked:

@Zenos7 Van used to mod the old nakama thread btw. He knows what he's talking about.

He was banned and you are tripping

That's.. sadly true. There is a necessity of a leap of faith here. Let's try something else : I'll put you in my position and pov for two seconds.

To do that, imagine that you are a science vulgarizer, and half of your family members adopted far right conspiracy/flat-earth theories. There is a risk of right wing radicalization of the entire group, what do you do to avoid losing everyone?

Leap if faith is a fancy way to say ''just trust me bro'':kobeha:

Haul ass and save myself.

In a way.. yeah.
You need to understand that your rationality is not enough for you to adopt rational beliefs. If that was the case, science wouldn't have to make it's own self-critique right now. Your biases will come in the way between you, your rationality and the understanding of the subject.

Haul ass and save myself.
I see..
