What's your biggest problem with accepting Kaido as the strongest of all?
We need to heal those wounds so you guys can finally open your eyes and stop being wrong every single week about where the manga and the powerscaling are heading.
We've just gone back to where the powerscaling never actually left. That whole "demigod Loki" nonsense is over. Flashy attacks with impressive AOE and DC but no actual results, the kind of stuff that only impresses kids who like playing Pokémon.

Our problem has always been how stupid the way power levels are assumed and how quickly characters are cast aside like children throwing away old toys for new toys. It is disappointing that fans who are mostly above 20 years have such little mental capacity to think that the author is going to discard the motivation and benchmark of the MC before the MC has even reached that stage.
For Luffy the benchmark has always been Shanks and Roger. There is a greater goal (the bigger dream) but that dream is the same dream as Roger. For the author and the readers this stage will come once Luffy has achieved the established benchmark. Even now who and what is being hyped, the PK and his crew. This very chapter the PK crew wants to see out their captains dream, not that of an unknown man named JB. And Luffy has at multiple times clarified that he is himself, he is following his own journey, he is not JB.
Where does the problem come from? An infatuation with old and ancient powers. Something to eclipse the established power hierarchy because you were not fans of those characters. Why were people trying to push Rocks above Roger and WB and Loki above Kaido and Shanks. Because these previous characters were serving as benchmarks. But which characters are described or portrayed as the top dogs. Roger and Shanks. Roger was the PK, Rocks was Rogers greatest rival, WB the WSM was the one who equaled Roger, Garp and Roger almost killed each other many times, Roger conquered the world, Haki transcends all etc. Luffy wants to surpass Shanks and his crew, Shanks haki is compared to JBs, Shanks stopped Kaido, Shanks stopped the MF war, Shanks is the freest, Shanks is the closest to PK etc. These two are the characters that the MC has to surpass, this has been set from the beginning and maintained by the author until this very last chapter.
