Powers & Abilities Roof piece Zoro without Enma

Then why did Big Mom point out the sword? If it had literally nothing to do with Enma then why would the sword itself have been notable? Why didn’t she say swordsman if it was strictly due to what Zoro could do regardless solely from his emotions?

Kaido specifically mentioned the sword’s haki. Unless Kaido has such a memory for detail that he remembered the exact cut of Enma’s blade, how could he have felt anything different about Enma than Wado when they are the same grade? Or are you saying that Kaido does know the distinct cut and feel of Enma 20 years later just by the steel itself? It was Zoro’s haki but the effect Enma had on Zoro’s haki mirrored Oden because Enma would have had a similar effect on Oden’s haki.

While you are absolutely correct on the need to master a sword before unlocking its full potential, we have seen concrete evidence that different swords can provide more raw power before they have been mastered.

Just because Zoro hadn’t mastered it doesn’t change that it provided a boost in raw power. It just meant that it was also coming with some negative side effects until he fully got it under control. It actually mirrors Enma’s first big use exactly by creating an attack more powerful than Zoro could have provided without it, yet missing.

Are you saying that Zoro cannot use ACoA without Enma? Because I don’t believe that to be true at all. Zoro’s other swords still appear to be able to cut Kaido and even Killer appears to have cut Kaido without using a sonic attack.

Kaido said well done after and didn’t single Zoro out. Which he should have if Killer didn’t manage to cut him at all.
For zorofanboys, Kaido just know Zoro Zoro has the Conqueror Haki confirmed by Kaido so Kaido knows what he's talking about whereas when Kaido talks about Enma he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Lmao

What is being contradicted?

Kaido is a skilled CoC user and understands it. While he doesn't fully understand ryu. He thought the Scabbards had Oden's ryu. He is also not a blacksmith and even stated he feels a strange haki from enma. Since he is familiar with Oden's haki the unfamiliar haki has to belong to Zoro. When Zoro scarred Kaido he never mentioned Oden. Not his will or haki.

It really is a pick and choose.

Kaido confirms zoro has king haki. He knows what he's talking about (especially since he's not even sure if zoro really has this power) But suddenly Kaido doesn't know what he is talking about for Enma (as he talks and mentions Enma on several occasions (which Big Mom, a pirate who has been around Shiki during her life, confirms for the sword too.)

literally pick and choose.

this is a good thread.
it is relevant and interesting and brings very new things to the table that we have not discussed in the past.

if you keep this up OP you will be going places.

Enma is a nerf not a power up. Enma uses it's user's haki. By that Zoro is using more haki than needed against Gifters. That is why he was so tired and his head started to bleed after cutting that Number weapon. Enma is not even a training tool.

Kaido just noticed Enma because was the same Oden used against him. That's why he says "this is Oden's sword" not "this is Enma". No one but Scabbards and allies knows Enma by it name.

Shusui is much better sword than Enma. With Shusui Zoro never had problem with going full potential. Roof Piece Zoro without Enma is doing much better than he did. Basically he is killing both Yonkos. That's why Oda had to nerf him. Because he wants Luffy to be the protagonist, the savior and every bullshit around that.

EDIT: Almost forgot, Zoro Ashura against Kaku also did only 1 cut.
