I just showed you that in an SBS he said that in the World of One Piece Ryuma is different. Have you read Monsters? Does that Wild Western town or any of it's inhabitants look like Wano to you?

Well in fairness the way Gyukimaru portrayed Ryuma with him defending against both World Government and Pirates and never losing, it is very likely he was strongest man in One Piece at that time just like he was in monsters.

If anything in One Piece he got even greater hype as Ryuma was not known as a God in monsters and his legend in One Piece world is alive even centuries later with both Pirates and Marines staying away from Wano.

Although I think Ryuma ~ Roger in theory Ryuma has greater hype
