Ryuma's hype is above any other mortal.
The black blade - the mark of the ultimate swordsman.
Undefeated(?), one-slice record.
The most ridiculous, heavily underestimated, the feat of protecting Wano singlehandedly.
No other has anything like it.
Whitebeard and Roger were strong but nothing unordinary that would give them the hype of a god.
You forgot Oars prime the Continent Puller.

Wano has a natural protection barrier around the Country due to the extreme weather. Ryuma only had to protect the Country from those who made it past all that and reached the Shores, which are few and far between.
That doesn't invalidate his point though. You compared protecting one ship to protecting am entire country of gold which had World Nobles lusting over.
Wano having a natural defense is almost irrelevant and if anything hypes Ryuma up even more because no ordinary pirates will be able to overcome that natural defense.
More specific hype, Oden praised the WBP for being able to make it past the defense

Yeah, there is a broad spectrum of characters who can make it to Wano. Ranging from Rookie Ace, to the Big Mom Pirates (Who were stopped from entering by a single Yonko Commander mind you, despite a Yonko being on board). This is the same Ace who couldn't even beat a sleeping Whitebeard. So lets not pretend that only the cream of the crop are capable of making it there. Decently strong people would have no problem, and Ryuma being a Top Tier should have no issues dealing with them.

The issue here is that people like to make it seem like Ryuma just fought off endless waves of Marines and Pirates, which is a big nope. The weather did half the work for him. He only had to deal with those who made it through.

Rookie Ace can fly so not really a valid point. The Big Mom pirates are formidable foes so still serves my point. And I'm not familiar with the time line, but I don't think there was any specific timeline indicating that the Ace who made it to Wano was the same rookie Ace who got beat by sleeping WB.

The type of enemies is what's important though. The WG would have to send at least their top fighters to gain the gold. The point of Akainu being weary of venturing into Wano country even supports this more. If a top fighters in the WG didn't get defeated by Ryuma, there would be no need to for admirals to fear.

Protecting Wano singlehandedly > anything any other individual has ever done.
Ryuma had entire wano on his back ...

and save from who? form fodders? well done ....

this panel alone is 100 times higher than any fan fictions Ryuma can have

Shanks stopped 8 top tiers and over 4 armies in that day at once

the BEST Ryuma could ever done was stopping a single one ... as if anyone but fodders attack wano back then

comparing him to Kings is just a sad effort from wankers .... but again ... you guys have no shame so what's to wonder about?

That would be the case if the Marines actually knew how strong the Samurai from Wano are. Akainu didn't oppose sending troops there because he thought they were too strong. He opposed it because he said the strength of the samurai are an "unknown factor". Meaning they don't know anything about the Country. This implies anything pertaining to what Ryuma achieved against Pirates and Marines of his time is lost knowledge.

Akainu doesn't "fear the Samurai". He's just not stupid and he's not going to send Kizaru to face down two Yonko's, and an unknown military force. You can't prep for something you know nothing about, and facing one Yonko alone takes massive preparation. Let alone two yonkos, and an unknown military force.
