Someone would have commented on it, either Sanji or Queen. It seems brighter flames and white lightning effect are the only new features to portray hotter flames. Blue flames with orange lightning would be awesome but yeah, not happening.

It only makes sense for it to be blue sense sense the temperature is much hotter but it could also be white flames because he said he was stocking white hot , but white flames with a Lil blue around it is bad at all:cheers:

I don't understand why the "white hot" thing is brought up so often when the original language is Japanese.

It being in black amd white, I think that Oda would have had someone comment on a colour change to tell us it was even more distinct from DJ.

Then again, this is OP, where for months we all thought that Sanji’s siblings were also blonde until that volume cover came out and we discovered they had power ranger hair.

(Making those scenes at the start of WCI where the crew somehow manage to think Reiju and Yonji are Sanji really, really stupid. So I’m just going ti assume the hair colour was a later decision.)

Difference between Ifrit & Diable is that Ifrit is a significantly hotter & intense flame so for Oda to make a distinction btw the two he has to change the appearance of Ifrit. We know for a fact that the color of fire changes the hotter it gets and Sanji’s Ifrit seems to be hot enough that’s it’s become a plasma & is creating an electric field so makes sense for it to be a different color from Diable.

Still seems to be white at the core so could be whitish-blue flames which is the color of the hottest flames. The lighting effect around it I feel is enough to make a distinction btw Sanji & Marco’s flames btw.

That said, prolly best to keep an open mind on this as in Oda’s mind he might feel the lightening effect of Ifrit alone is enough to make a distinction btw it & Diable

He will get black flames in future. Oda didn't emphasize on the color change of the fire but he did make sanji comment on using CoA.


If he learns to channel his armament into flames then we might get to see black flames.
