Break Week Sanji and Zoro vs Jack?

#42
Jack was never meant for the dukes since OP has never been about vengeance just like Zoro 'avenging' Yasu's death was moot.
For me, the perfect match up for Jack is Sanji; for the simple reason that Sanji lacks in ap and Jack showed very high durabilty; if you add Zoro then Jack gets one shot...
In Dressrosa Zoro didn't take on the best swordsman under Doflamingo (Diamante) because he was meant for an arc character that wanted revenge for his wife's death. On a similar fashion, Law wanted to defeat Vergo and later Doflamingo only to avenge Rocinante, the whole motivation behind Ace fighting Teach was Thatch's death, we had the feud between Tamago and Pedro... Vengeance is quite present in One Piece, I'd say.

I never said it isn't present, but how many of these examples came into fruition ?
Law didn't get his kill.
Ace didn't get his kill.
Neither Pedro nor Tamago got their kills plus how was that about vengeance ? lol
The only one who got his ''vengeance'' fulfilled was Kyros and we knew about it right in the fight (or was it during the fight ? Lol) Doesn't really matter because we are talking about a secondary under sub character xD
Point is, vengeance isn't a thing in One Piece and is in most cases discouraged or made to create fake tension.

Oh I almost forgot, Pica would mid diff all of Doffy's comanders including Vergo so I don't see how he isn't the strongest swordsman lol

They come into fruition when the person seeking revenge is stronger and gets the chance to do so. Law killed Vergo, Kyros defeated Diamante. Inuarashi and Nekomamushi fighting Jack together doesn't sound good for the mammoth, so nothing really supports that they can't do the same as the other two.

I mentioned Pedro and Tamago because of their animosity, hence my usage of the word "feud".

Vengeance still exists in One Piece, whether you like it or not. If it is present then it is a thing. So it isn't an argument against the minks fighting Jack because they wouldn't be the first characters to seek revenge on an enemy and actually achieve it. Doesn't mean they will in fact fight him because who knows what will happen, but your argument lacks validity.

I'm not getting into power debates but:

1) Diamante is the best swordsman in the crew, to the point of personally teaching swordsmanship to the kid who Doflamingo wanted to become his right hand man. Pica held the sword in three panels and then resorted to his devil fruit.

2) Pica had a bounty of 99 million like Diamante and Trébol.

3) Vergo was addressed as Doflamingo's most valuable subordinate and referred by him as his partner, previously held the position that was occupied by his biological brother and free for his future right hand man, and was explicitly drawn by Oda alongside Doffy and apart from the other three. Even their designs point to Doflamingo and Vergo being the top two of the crew in a similar fashion to Shanks and Beckman.

So sure, Pica would mid diff all of them. You probably only think that because he fought Zoro, basically.

(I admit I mentioned Zoro and Diamante on purpose only because I knew a Zoro fan would be triggered by it and would not be able to resist wanking Pica. "Oh, almost forgot", sure you did).

No Zoro is gonna fight King.

- Marco will stall BM.

- Sanji will either fight Queen or a Tobi Roppo member.

- Jinbe will probably fight Jack or Sasaki (as both are fishmen).

The Supernova / Worst generation members will have the most shine this arc as they have had in all the previous New World arcs.
If you want Marco to be a punching bag and end up dead, yeah

The focus of the arc are Supernovas. Luffy had plenty of 1vs1s in WCI so he wont be getting any in this arc.
Zoro will take on King, Kidd and maybe Killer will take on Queen, Law will take on Jack. Those are 3 major SN fights.
Luffy, Marco and Jinbe will take on Big Momma. The half of SHs that was in WCI will help them with her as well except Sanji.
Bepo will be part of Big Mom fight too since he has a history with her.

Strawhats will have fights against Tobi Roppo and Numbers, Sanji will most likely deal with Perorin or end up as Black Maria's slave.
If Killer isnt part of Queen fight he may take on Who's Who. After those fights have concluded, all Supernovas will take on Kaido.
Exceptions may be Apoo if he ends up defeated by Brook and Hawkins if he is dead. Drake will probably fight Kaido too.
So, yeah, Jack is most likely going to Law since he also bullied his crew along the Minks back in Zou.

Man, Oda should have made Jack the strongest calamity
This guy fits Kaido's crew the most
He is badass, his intro was badass

Unlike King and Queen who look like they were some useless clowns from different crews
In terms of design, I do think he has the best one out of the three Calamities (with King having the worst one). I think that should have been King’s design, honestly.
