i can understand rogers dream, but WB seems bullshit to me, he wanted family? he can just married and have kids, but gathered armies fleets of strong pirates, sailing under him. gathred territoird,
oda seems just add that upon his death, just to make his character more likable. :kayneshrug:

OP, when you realize that Oda make Sanji that strong partly to carry and/or be comparison for Luffy especially Zoro, to elevate them, how would you feel?

As far as back in Montblanc house, Sanji got underwhelmed only for Zoro to get back at it. All the way to losing to Lucci for Luffy (W7/EL), Vergo for Law (Punk Hazard), Doffy for Luffy (Dressrosa), to King for Zoro (Onigashima).

But yeah, I kinda agree with your post statement. Sanji is built to be the Red Mage type. Not strongest, but strong enough. Not smartest, but smart enough. Useful life, but also combat. Dramatic and sentimental, yet a joke. Etc.

No need to argue. People claim that zoro is on another level after ps . Sanji did not get fight . Did not get anything like that . But end of day , after 11 12 years , sanji got opponent who always portrayed with zoros opponent . No matter what people said . Evetything is obvious . I can understand zoro fans sense . But who said finding all blue is not impressive ? To only crew mate who recruited sharing dream eith Luffy is sanji . Check barathie arc . The only difference between them is that sanji dont prefer to fight . That is all . His aim is saving someone always .
