Your willful ignorance is crazy to me. Oda chooses panelling like he decides on what characters say. You're acting that Oda didn't have Urouge call Zoro first mate out loud. Those outside the strawhats don't decide sure, Oda does. Oda hasn't made this close at all. Zoro's matchups almost always have close relationships to Luffy's, third strongest don't compare. Then there's the fact that Zoro has qualities of a captain to the point that others mistake him for one, his parallels with Rayleigh, the fact that he the only other SH with conqueror's haki. lmao why would Zoro fight King while the first mate who ranks higher than him fights the one named Queen? If it were the other way around you'd be adamant that Sanji's first mate.

Imo I don't think Blackbeard needs to take out other characters and villains. He gained notoriety by his actions on a grander scale. He became a Yonko purely by stealing WBs power and knowing his territories.
He doesn't need to prove he's above anyone except Luffy when the time comes. What will probably make him more dangerous than Kaido will be his 3rd DF in combination with the others, along with what I believe is Pluton that he's going after.
No need to have him kill off Shanks or Admirals who deserve bigger screentime than that

I don't think "Bad" is really the right term for certain fights tbh. He's just going to do his military duty and serve as an obstruction. In 956, he was still very clear with Akainu about wanting to take down Pirates, since he believes the SSG are perfect for it.
Fujitora likes Luffy for sure, but it doesn't mean he won't stand in their way when the time comes.

I mean the point of Blackbeard (in my opinion) is to draw a foil to Luffy. As such watching his rise to fame and grow in power is very important as such seeing Blackbeard defeat an admiral (especially a blander one like Kizaru) and an emperor (especially one with such a connection to Luffy) is important in the story

Im 99% sure that Zoro will fight Fujitora, and Sanji will fight Greenbull, especially given their "duo/rivalry" dynamic that Oda likes to stick with Zoro and Sanji's opponents.
I bet Oda has other plans for Kizaru, and i think it will have something do to with fighting Teach.
Sakazuki will be the only one remaining from the Old Admiral Trio because Oda wants to make him much more "special" compared to the rest (quite clearly), especially cuz he is going to fight Luffy

I don't agree lol. I don't think seeing BB perform combative feats matter outside of battling Luffy. Like it literally does not service the story until we see him just wrecking Luffy anyway. It's not like we needed to see Kaido/BM do this. And at most with Shanks, we got him clashing with others or stopping wars.
