Speculations Sanji's 1v1 will be against a tobi roppo or a number

#63
Sanji will fight a Tobi Roppo or one of the Numbers..?? Are you kidding me... It has been made evident since the beginning of the story, that Sanji is first and foremost a cook, not a fighter. His skills as a fighter are abysmal, his talents belong mostly in the kitchen.
So no, he won't be fighting any of the above mentioned fighters. Infact, I think Luffy will make him sit this one out, like an extra on a sports team.
You wanna make a bet then, since you believe it so strongly?
I say Sanji will fight those guys and even stronger ones.

He didn't. He just drew a few panels of all the straw hats (bar fodders) fighting.
After the fight the two in the front talking casually were zoro and sanji.
Except he did. He put them on entirely different pages. Luffy, Jinbe, and Zoro were portrayed together. Sanji was portrayed with the rest of the crew. That matters.
Been a calamitous few weeks for Sanji, hasn't it?

But no, he's still fighting Queen (with help). He's still stronger than Page One, he just might not have beaten him the way he promised. The Tobi Roko are for the other Strawhats and Red Scabbards.
You do realize that you’re saying that Sanji’s first fight in the New World, because this is his first full on fight in the New World, is going to be against a YC2 with literally no progression towards that level, right?

It doesn’t make sense, especially if you consider that he doesn’t need to at the moment, because the next few enemies are going to be more Yonko commanders, so he has time to build up to that level.

Also, the ambiguity of the end of the fight with Page One is purposeful to me.

I prefer judging them on feats, on the opponent they fight, not where they are placed on panel.

Then game over. Jinbe blocked a punch from an Admiral with intent to kill. Jinbe tanked an attack from a Yonko, albeit weakened, with intent to kill and then physically blasted her off of his ship. Zoro essentially sliced a mountain into pieces, drew against the first mate of Luffy’s rival, and successfully fought another supernova to a standstill. Sanji has no credible feats that come close to that, as I’m not counting brief clashes, nor any that put him in legitimate discussions to fight a commander.

This is Sanji’s first fight in the New World. Luffy didn’t come into the New World simply ready to fight Katakuri.

I think that Sanji and Zoro will fight a tobi Roppo as a "warm up" to test their new skills" while Luffy Kid Law play with the calamities a little and after S/Z take down their "warm up match" possibly Zoro the samurai and Sanji someone (i don't think P1 maybe the leader or xDrake) they will switch to the calamities but not as a plain 1v1 but
1 calamity(queen) vs Sanji + someone else,
1 calamity(King) vs Zoro+ someone else

Luffy, Zoro, Sanji were placed together....
Zoro and Sanji were placed together....
Luffy and Zoro were placed together...
Sanji and Jinbe were placed together and shared the same opponent.....

If those panels in the last chapter is "portrayal", then you're saying:
1. Jinbe>Zoro
2. Sanji as strong as Brooke and Robin or weaker
3. Oda is prone is changing his mind 24/7

There are a lot of good enemies here and sanji doesn't need Queen the way Zoro needs King. The Flyers are fine.

People tend to forget that there is no way to tell how strong the RS makes him. He's always been as good strategically as he is offensively, and the invisibility helps with that specifically. A pretty strong opponent and some spy type action works better than a straight up fight.

Drake is a double agent. He might hide his true strength.

Flying Six is just a warm up for Sanji. His main fight is still Queen. We haven't seen full power of RS and Sanji's flashback. it would be a waste to spend RS full power and Sanji's flashback training on Flying Six.
