The transformations are obviously pretty different and we know different contracts allow different levels of control for Imu. Which then might imply different levels of strength he’s capable of in each body. Imu pretty much summoned his own self through Saturn while he’s only taking over Gunko’s body
Having a whole other god knight on the island is extremely dangerous especially when in shamrock’s case he’s more likely to go for the kill than just capture the crew. He also just could have killed jarul himself
Again we don’t know how strong Imu Gunko is and whether he can handle Luffy and Loki at the same time

That image doesn´t change anything, since:
Imu can look like normal saturn while having him possesed if he wants
Saturn is a zoan, Gunko is a paramecia
There´s no reason nor indication that one is weaker than the other, let alone significantly enough to go from stronger than the GV 6, to weaker than Luffy alone. If Gunkimu is weaker, it´s only so it would be even remotely feesable that Loki and Luffy can win if they work together.
Nah, Shamrock didn´t even confirm his murder attempt on Loki, and everyone has been following his plan until now, of capturing the children. It would have pretty much gone the exact same.
This is just dumb. Imu scales to what he´s previously done. The fact that he´s using vessels isn´t even a canon nerf, you´re just headcanoning yourself x2.
Just use common sense here.
The strawhats beyond Luffy will not be able to harm Imu, since they lack any special fruit(which is what the entire plan to take Imu down was based on, per the flashback)
Loki and Imu are obviously going to fight after all the buildup, and Luffy isn´t soloing Imu when he hasn´t solo´d anyone since Don Chinajo
