I am confused as to the stances of each fandom to Shamrocks reveal as the Shanks lookalike/twin/clone and confirming Shanks relation to the CDs. My opinions
As a Swordbro/Mihawk fan: Another Mihawk victim
As a Zoro fan: Clash with Sham to equate to clashing with Shanks and showing Zoro reaching that level
As a Luffy fan: Beating Sham to equate to beating Shanks without actually beating Shanks, not sure Luffy will beat him though, seems like a Rev fight
As a Shanks fan: Someone to take fall instead of Shanks before EoS, Shanks is stronger than his pampered and protected brother

What are the opinions of the other fandoms?

As Shanks' twin bro, he should also be a conqueror with a power not far off from Shanks himself, a legit top tier. Though I would say that Shanks will definitely be stronger given the path he took; the path of a free, ambitious man sailing and conquering the new world and gathering a strong crew of loyal people and allies, while Shamrock is more of a henchman of the WG, although a high ranked one.

Will he serve as a hype tool for Zoro? I would assume if a clash happens, it will hype them both, though Shamrock would most likely edge out due to the role he embodies as the leader of the holy knights who has not displayed his full power yet, so hype will surely be more focused on him than on a character we followed along for a long time.

Shamrock reveal sucks.
Shanks would have been a way better character if he was evil.

Zoros discussions with Luffy means that Luffy will meet Pranks and Pranks will get the better of him because Luffy will let his guard down.

Easy. Zoro beats Pranks, a non cripple, better educated, healthier, clean eating and thus (supposedly) better Shanks. Then he's ready for Mihawk.
Wether Pranks is > Shanks, is still up to debate.

But Zoro will be > all Figarlands in general EoS so it doesn't even matter.

Edit: "Ready for Mihawk" means he is like pre SSJ Goku against Frieza. He'll still have his biggest hakibloom and development against Mihawk for barely being able to extreme diff him.
