Insane how the BB Pirates made two theories about it, and both were seemingly wrong.

What’s the 2nd theory? That he has a DF? I wouldn’t rule that out just yet

but it’s funny to think, that in hindsight it really makes sense the last important roger pirate would be at the end of the grand line gate keeping the one piece. Irrc Gaban was one for the popular theories at the time, so Oda had to

- reintroduce Saul with a bunch of scars
- had shillew mention it be a WG agent
- introduce the HKs with a yonko like crew

just to have us guessing what should be obvious

I doubt Gaban ate a devil fruit after learning the world is sinking, plus it would limit the amount of exploration he can do.

I am willing to bet with all 3 of the gentlemen I quoted that Gaban isn't the man with burn scar roaming around on seas with 4th RPG.

I will go with BBP statement that burn scar man is associated with WG than being a Roger pirate

Im also not convinced gaban is scar man (i personally made a theory that is mosa) but the BBP statment doesnt make sense
the BBP made multiple statments, suggesting all of those are probally not true

Don't doubt BBPs. They are the drivers of one piece plot in many ways.

So, if they say 4th rpg is with the man who sink ship with whirlpool and has black ship and possibly associated with WG then it is

When Kuzan said "you think im the burned scar man" and showed his scars from akainu, they said "no you got them recently"
Meaning if we take the BBP for full the burned man HAS deep scars somewhere on his body exacty like kuzan which would be gaban

Its looks like kuzans. Its not a scar like zoro has over his eye, but more like Luffy has from being burned by Akainu. And its clearly either flame or snake shaped.
ALSO the scar needs to be somewhere visible, as opposed to kuzan, and the face would be the most visible place if people know the man only about rumors

Yeah that’s why I think it’s something he had to always have since he wasn’t interested in eating the fruit they found that buggy ate. As such eating a fruit after knowing the worlds drowning wouldn’t make much sense for Gaban who is more on the cautious side.

It’s more we know he didn’t want one when buggy ate his fruit and they even outright mocked buggy for wanting to eat a fruit (that’s more where it started imo)

Kid was going to elbaf, so he was used to point us where the man marked by flames is

Law knows who he is, so we’ll probably get an explanation from Gaban himself as to how they’ve met

The BBP were used as a red herring, they’ve either obtained it via Law or will do so via Shanks

Pretty easy to explain
