Nice thread. There better be some unique uses of it, considering name of the fruit is "clear clear fruit". Partial nothingness or something alike could be one way, as he "clears" himself literally, not just visually.

As with every superpower one nerf to it would be he loses that nothingness when he attacks, as attacks have to connect for it to work. So he loses that state for a slight moment when connecting his attack. Or only his arms and sword lose that state when attacking, and Zoro with some new haki power up have to force Shiryu out of that state using that one opportunity.

The original novel written by Tatsuya Hamazaki sounds more serious than Boichi's manga adaptation. It seems to me Teach panicked a little when Thatch said he knows what fruit Blackbeard wants. There was also a foreshadowing that Teach wont hesitate to kill a crewmate.

My point still stands. This volume was released five months before chapter 925 =>

But what makes this interesting is, a member of the Blackbeard pirates eventually gets the Suke Suke no mi. This Ace volume was released five months before chapter 925, where Shiryu shows his suke suke no mi powers. This cant be a coincidence. There is a possibility that Oda passed this information to Tatsuya.

Exactly. By no means has CoO been described as the ability to see invisible things, or see through DF powers.

To make an understandable example, they refer to "voice." If you close your eyes and I yell out that it's a left hook, you have an idea of what's coming but that really doesn't help for several other reasons.

FYI, we are talking about awakening and not normal usage.

Instead of focusing on changing your narrative based on what suits your agenda you should focus on seeing how a df fruit can become really good depending upon the users capabilities and skills
