The last anime episode made me realize something. Zoro’s CoO does not only allow him to feel people presence(like in FMI or PH) or to feel when people are hiding something (with Kiku) but it also enhance his senses.

In the latest episode, Zoro said that Lucci cannot hide himself from him because he can smell his animal’s stench.
At first this seems to be a throwaway line but it might not be when you remember that:
-In Wano Zoro was able to smell blood on the magistrate and he understood that the magistrate was the street killer
-Zoro was able to smell booze miles away (before the raid)
-Zoro was able to hear the shamisen miles away

So CoO enhanced Zoro’s sense of smell and hearing. Therefore Zoro might really keep one eye shut to enhance his sight.

Jokes aside, despite my Zoro slander here, I am a big Zoro fan outside this forum. On discord and stuff, I'm constantly defending him wanking him over admiral level. On this forum, it's all jokes. Zoro is my top 6 character in the show and I have loved him since the introduction. He was the guy that got me hooked (aside from my GOAT Shanks ofc) into the story cause Luffy's introduction was kinda lame
