We discussed this in Zoro discord FC but I will share it here too if Temple dwellers are interested to discuss as well.
We were guessing what purpose would Orochi have if he survived the decapitation and where Fukurokuju went to.
He seemed to disappear right in time before Queen deployed the Ice Oni plague rounds and is not in trouble now.

We assumed that he went to collect Orochi's body or to do something else that nobody saw coming.
Quite some while ago, there was that comment by Oda, I believe, that greatest nemesis will be in SHs way in Wano.
The lurking legend has been mentioned and we all thought it is Kaido, however, nothing about him is lurking-like.

We know that Orochi has no allies anymore among the current Onigashima participants and the usual guess was that he would somehow invite the Cypher Pol 0 as an act of revenge on Kaido for his betrayal and attempted murder. However, CP0 is a bit of a stretch considering that they are getting their own arc soon enough in the story and that reveal in Wano takes away from reveals later on.

There are two possibilities - Orochi is dead and Orochi is alive. If Orochi is alive he himself will do something to cause even bigger chaos and in case that he is dead, it will be Fukurokuju who will create the chaos so he could end up profiting from it somehow. He always seemed to be the one holding all the strings behind Orochi's back. There is also the waste of Orochi's DF if he is dead.

The scenario to unfold, we suspect, will be something similar to Lex Luthor creating Doomsday and releasing it on Superman or like Cercei deciding to "burn them all" which can also be done in Wano by introducing "Doomsday". Who is that agent of chaos?
It could be the lurking legend that we have yet to see, someone imprisoned somewhere in Wano, someone who could eat Orochi's body and obtain his devil fruit Yamata no Orochi and possibly be a bigger threat than even Kaido or at least comparable to Emperors.

What if the lurking legend is captain Rocks? A swordsman with 8 heads from Orochi's DF and facing off the 9 sworded demon god Asura from our beloved Marimo. What do you guys think about that scenario? Either way, Marimo has to kill Kaido as well. :catpole:

Even in the case Orichi is alive, Oda may still throw in some monkey wrench of a revelation that would astound people even if they guess what initially happens, but make it convincing and believable all the same. Guessing what’s behind door #1 won’t guarantee you can guess what’s behind doors #2 and beyond.

If Rocks is still somehow alive, (no idea how he could have achieved this), I think he would still be far too op Nik. That's near enough another top tier added in this already massive war. The alliance are clearly already at a disadvantage, and Rocks addition would make it impossible to win even with plot amour.

Yeah, I really don't see the alliance handling another top tier on top of Kaido and Big Mom.

As for Orochi? If the rat is still alive due to the nature of his df, we will finally get to see Ame no Habakiri play a role in the war, rather than just being the second sword in Oden's arsenal.

As to who will really slay him with the AnH if he were to come back to life?

I would be betting on Hiyori.

One piece Yellow databook covers manga volumes from 25 to 45, so until chapter 440, Enies Lobby/ Water Seven is included.

There are two very interesting information coming from this databook:
- the first one is that Yoru ranking is revealed as one of the 12 Saijo O Wazamono (Yoru ranking is never indicated in the manga!)
- the second one is that this databook put Zoro on Luffy's same level

So my question is if people can accept the first information, why not to take into consideration also the second one? Double standards perhaps?

People will refuse every information that goes against their pre-existing conceptions.

If it comes from anything other than the manga or SBS or Oda’s interviews, they will say that « it is not canon ». If it comes from the manga or Oda’s they will try to twist it until it fit their pre-existing conceptions.

-Prep-existing conception : Luffy is stronger than Zoro
-Databook : Zoro and Luffy are on the same level
-Answer : Not canon.

-Pre-existing conception about Yoru: None
-Databook : Yoru is one of the 12
-Answer: Ok cool
