I'm afraid the path Oda has chosen for a Zoro PU is gonna be Shimotsuki related
saying something like Asura is from the Shimotsuki or something like that
and if that happens, it will be Enma 2.0
instead of saying Oden / Enma is carrying Zoro, they are gonna keep saying Ushimaru / Ryuma is carrying Zoro
edit: even if i'm fine with it already, i accepted that's what's gonna happen most likely, it's still a pain in the ass to have to keep listening to people trash talk Zoro because of this

Not too worried about Zoro Shimotsuki lineage personally it would not invalidate his hard work and what he has achieved up to now
Ashura is special ability unique to Zoro i very much doubt it has anything to do with his Shimotsuki bloodline. We also know not every Shimotsuki reaches that level of Ryuma, Ushimaru was said to be fantastic swordsman but never came close, Yasuie was also just an average swordsman at best they can say whatever they want Zoro body and strength is product of his own training. He was never modified or eaten a df to boost him :cheers:

Seems like you are itching to start another magical sword bs, my head canon is Zoro returns Enma to exchange it for the Nidai that is how i imagine he gets it. Sandai is forever staying with Zoro, despite it being two grades lower than both Wado and Enma it has same feats as those swords. Zoro can always elevate it's rank by himself so there is no need for it to break now after it blocked hakai without receiving a nick.
My headcanon says King will break sandai kitetsu

If zoro fights with the goresei dude(he should) He will get his 12 supreme blade shodai kitetsu, If that blade becomes a black, it will be his Highest Level sword that zoro wielding

imo Zoro wont surpass Mihawk blade Until he finds 12 supreme grade level blade and forge it to a blackblade
but if Wado is a Special sword and there is no limit to surpass, It will be the highest sword he carrying it might be par with the Yoru

I do see him exchanging Sandai for the Nidai. A cursed sword for another cursed sword. We might also get another moment of Zoro overcoming a curse. I don't see the Sandai breaking tho, if a scratch on a sword is a swordsman shame, then I can't imagine how having a broken sword would affect Zoro's reputation. Maybe the citizens of Wano after realizing that Zoro has a cursed sword, they might want to give him Nidai thinking that since he tamed both Sandai and Enma, taming the Nidai should also be child's play. And also as a thanks for saving their country lol.
I cant see Zoro doing this for no reason... It's not like he is trading swords just because he stumbled upon a higher grade.
