They could have animated the speed without the "aura"

The aura was there so we could see him move. Imagine a 4 minutes fight and the only thing on the screen are the trees in the background.

I get that, but the motion blur matching the color of the clothes could do the trick as well. Pretty sure that aura is not the only way to show super speed in anime. The previous encounters didnt have the "aura" and there was some great speed.

Maybe it costs less to animate it that way.

Okay but Venus completely mogged Zoro this episode. Hope Venus vs Zoro isn't animated by whoever did the Lucci fight ending tbh. I want that clash to have speed and impact like Venus against pacifistas.

Toei won't make it fast, they will show the haki build up create a space between them and then explode, at least 1 minute of them clashing and grunting.

Any guess who is zolo opponent this arc ?!

Dog Knights are not intersting to me.
And even no one of them have the aura to be zolo opponent

Iknow it's far fetched
But I want this arc main fight be vs the figerland twins .
One vs nikka and the other vs zolo.

I do think Zoro will have a big moment in Elbaf, that's how Oda's hype works.
His hype was sky high in Wano, then it was lowered in Egghead and now we are on the big wave again.

So giving zolo basic coc now it seems underwhelming, this why i guess it's time for v
A new abilitiy of coc
Or maybe V2 of "Incapacitation" as wiki name it.

Egg head was just to make zolo busy and give him something instead of nothing.

Also elbaf arc is more like egg head cuz of lack of villains unless rest of dogs are summoned which doesn't seems like it.

Not an arc where all SHs get match up like big arcs.
