Kaido deserves to die for what he's done to Wano though. Unusually for most arcs, Zoro has a personal connection to the citizens of Wano. He saw the effects of the pollution from the factories, the effects of the controlled food supply to the commoners, the effects of the SMILE fruits on the people of Ebisu, all this Shimotsuki stuff and their connection to Ryuma...

yes most of their opponents deserves to die and they don't kill that is how the strawhats are

I dunno. People like Kaido and Blackbeard are far too dangerous to live. Kaido himself has gotten out of being arrested several times. Blackbeard will probably die because of some complications with using multiple devil fruits or something.

I can see a tag team match once BM will be separated from him either not sure who will fight but I hope it's these 3 each has very useful skills to bring down a yonko like him

but zoro really just seems to be set up to be another YC1

Yes he has Enma and could probably cut kaido and its hype and all but there's more to being a top tier than one stat. Katakuri had better CoO than Big Mom and he was not top tier.

While a YC1 might have one top tier stat, an actual top tier has many. For example, Luffy not only has ACoA but FS as well. In addition to that he has top tier speed(snakeman), top tier defense(tankman), and top tier offense(boundman) on top of a monstrous stamina(Luffy vs katakuri). These ultimately add up to make Luffy a low top tier.

Zoro doesn't have this. His fight with Killer proved his stamina wasn't that great, and Zoro has never been a speedster nor has he shown any good CoO feats. So while he will be able to launch attacks capable of hurting a yonko, he'll still ultimately be on par with katakuri. I mean in a fight against kata, Zoro would struggle tremendously. He'd most likely need to use asura in order to have enough AoE to land an attack kata cannot dodge

In Luffy vs moria, it was a tag team and Luffy still did most the work and landed the final hit

So...Zoro got the ONLY sword that scarred Kaido...and there's not gonna be any interaction between the two?

You've arbitrarily decided Kaido "needs to die" just so you can say that Zoro will kill Kaido. There's nothing that suggests that Kaido "needs" to die, and there isn't much of a reason for him to die either.

If Kaido is meant to die then Zoro is the man (obviously a weakened Kaido and in teamtag).
