Chapter Discussion The hypocrisy of the Minks

#84
Let's see what we have at the moment:
1. BM accepts all races without discriminating against anyone. She accepted Pekoms into her team, and Pedro with team, using this connection, entered her territory and tried to steal the poneglyph. And this made BM very angry, because Roger did the same. But, despite such a crime, she did not kill them and tested their luck. They were unlucky and lost their lives, and even so, she made concessions and let Pedro down alive, forbidding him to ever appear on her lands.
2.Pedro himself violated this ban(after all, there were many people who wanted to help SHs) and again penetrated into Tottoland with the help of Pecoms. And again they aimed at the poneglyph, killing and wounding the defenders of the castle.
3. They achieved their goals - they freed Sanji and got a copy of the poneglyph and could have left, but they stayed, deciding to save G66 and kill BM, on her own territory, in front of all her children, and even destroyed her castle, in which small children lived. The castle itself could kill a lot of harmless citizens if it wasn't for Streusen , but this didn't really bother Luffy and co.
4. As a result, the uninvited guests were cornered, and Pedro, attacking Prospero and blowing himself up, saved the others. The only fault of Perepro is that he survived this explosion and got up after it. Carrot saw this scene, and blamed Prospero for his death, although it was the choice of Pedro himself.
That I will note that only Carrot accused Prospero of killing Pedro, deceiving the other minks.

It is basically a someone who came to invade their home and they defended themselves and now the invaders want revenge for one of them dead due to the others defending their home against the invaders β€š but again those are pirates so....

Lets just focus our hatred primary on Carrot. She started this whole revenge stuff, while everyone else was done with WCI. At this state only Naruto can convince her otherwise.

Wanda and Neko dont know how it went, they just think Pedro was killed by Pero.

It would have been great that Nekomamushi just didn't give a shit about Perospero explaining Pedro killed himself and went for his head anyways because that's a war and he doesn't need excuses to take an enemy down.

Hahahah nice rant.
I totally agree on the stupidity of the fight between Peros and Nekomamushi.
It only shows that Oda gives 0 shits about revenge stories and even despises them as shown numerous times in the manga.
Any ''revenge plot'' has lead to a failiure, just look at Ace and Law.
Neko and Inu tried getting revenge on Jack and failed (they are still trying) xD and now they have a vendetta against Peros hahhaah this is really stupid.
It was cringe with Carrot but now it is borderline infuriating.

The fact that this is a pirate world is why you guys should not be making a big deal out her wanting revenge to begin with lol.

She's free to want revenge. And regardless of whether or not Peros tells Neko that Pedro killed himself. Neko is still gonna whoop his sorry ass anyway
Again you're doing the same argument '' everything justify the means '' because its a pirate world. Pirates have their own moral code like Big Mom with Otama and Okobore town. Nekomamushi is someone with honor and has his own moral code, he's not one dimensional like Carrot..

Unless Neko won't trust Peros words, there's no reason for Neko to beat him up in the name of revenge at least..

BM Pirates invaded Zou first
Kidnapped one of the Minks' saviors- Sanji
With a plot to murder Sanji and his family.
BM needed Caesar. He had deceived her and was staying with the SHs at the time. Back in DR Pekoms and Tomago were asked to hand over Caesar to them, SHs did not give it, so they were chased to Zou.
Sanji is the choice of Judge, not BM herself. Judge himself said that Sanji was not his son, but decided to use him and give him to BM to establish a connection. BM did not care which of the sons would be the fiance.
