Becoming the World Strongest Swordsman isn't her ambition. But I believe she'll become of one the strongest when all is said and done. I hope she and Zoro fight again at some point. This time, we see the full battle.

That would actually be really cool. I see Tashigi's and Zoro's rivalry as another take on Kuina's and Zoro's. Zoro taking on the role of Kuina while Tashigi takes on the role of Zoro.
Zoro never got the chance to overcome Kuina in life. Should Tashigi ever overcome Zoro, it would be fulfilling a sentiment Zoro never got to experience.
I know Oda is building Smoker and Tashigi up to become enemies of the WG as well as allies for the Strawhats, but I would like some final face off between G-5 and the Strawhats. One where they can clear the air, come to understand the other side as best they can, then agree to work together. Luffy even suggested he and Smoker should fight one day when they are both at their best.

My headcanon for how Smoker and Tashigi met. Smoker was one of the first people to show faith in Tashigi's abilities. Which is probably part of why she respects him and follows him dutifully. I bet Tashigi had been surrounded by people who constantly questioned her ability as a soldier because she was a woman. Meanwhile, Smoker is constantly pushing her to be more than she thinks she is.

Unfortunately, not much of her. She and Smoker are together talking early in the movie. We later see them arresting several of the Pirates before planning to evacuate before the Buster Call. Then we see her and Coby getting dragged away by Hina after Hina realized Smoker planned on staying behind to help against Bullet. She's then last seen in during the credits with Smoker, Coby, Hina.
