"Suddenly pull a 180" is the fallacy. If you don't count the clues that created the theory in the first place, then this story was set in motion fifteen years ago, when Zoro inherited the will of Ryuma on panel.
As for Oda's intentions, he's made it clear that Zoro is willing to kill and that he would opt to kill Kaido. Is more "brutal" than Luffy punching his female crew member in the face, or the face melting at Marineford that the anime wouldn't even show? We already know that they're willing to show a beheaded dragon, which is frankly a pretty humane way to kill someone. If you really want to believe that it goes against something Oda has installed, hey maybe Kaido will get better like the mountain god or Orochi. You know, the two recent beheadings.

Luffy is not died . Luffy is luffy . One of the oda fake moment . Or awakening can provide healing or something like sanji case . Luffy has devil fruit and oda make whatever he want . What do zoro have to make this kind of shit ? Which wounds zoro got during the all story heal in very short time ? If you present argument , you have to defend or generate solution how this will happen ? Luffy come back death because he has freaking df . What about zoro ? Hiyori kissing , enma heal him and carry one more time , what ?

You can’t compare ZKK to any of what you mentioned because we’re talking about a protagonist murdering a character who has grown close to Luffy while still being an antagonist.

Haha I mentioned them because of that. If you really can't believe that Kaido can get beheaded after volumes of people talking about taking his head, and him talking about death himself, then maybe you can hope for something like that. Certainly more traumatizing than getting punched, if anyone cares about him not coming back.
