this is different from
"He cut the scales?" or "Kaido got damaged from a punch" or the reaction to luffy pummeling kaid in g4
or " they studied my durability and know how tough my skin is"

prior to last chap
they were able to damage him significantly
now none of what they prev did works.

It would be a weird time for all of them to stop using their best techniques considering Kaido just got serious. It’s possible they’re alternating for some reason, but I don’t see it very likely.

Would be very dumb of them to suddenly care or try to reserve their strength against an opponent who has stamina to spare.

Or they've been fighting for so long they simply don't have the energy to continue fighting with their best techniques. An indication of this is Zoro sheathing his other two swords and using only one while heavily panting. Or Kidd ditching his massive robot. Or Luffy not attacking in Boundman.

Nah, this is my best and most straightforward interpretation of this chapter.

My agenda was Zoro fighting Kaido during the 10 minutes, but I didn't expect Oda to just off panel Luffy being out of commission. That agenda has been shattered so I'm not defending it anymore.

The idea that Luffy has been fighting Kaido for such a long time:

We've hit them so many times, they have to be feeling it!!

And confidently asserts that their attacks must doing damage, yet this was without Haki?

That is utterly insane.

It's the sanji boys crying about how much the roof novas are still up and running against 2 full power yonko.

Luffy still doesn’t even have his Haki back yet and two Yonko can’t defeat him. At this rate the Supernova will surely will separate the Yonko and defeat them individually.

Which is complement to strength of supernovas not a bad look for Yonko.

Kaido alone soloed 9 scabbards low diff in Base and it includes Sulong Minks..2 YC1 level characters

It just shows even weakest of supernova on roof top be it Law or Kidd or Killer are above YC1

I wouldn't say the dukes are yc1.
But id say for sure the roof novas bottom out with killer at least yc2.
