I don’t understand the meaning of the thread.
We can deduce that Law a DF user is a Swordsman
Fujitora (based on Zatoichi) is a Swordsman
** Pure Swordsman ** <— is made up by the fandom to explain why “X” shouldn’t be stronger than “Y”, which never made sense.
A Swordsman is plain and simple without a Sword Character “A” is not at their strongest.
Zoro choose to kick Luffy when attempting to calm him down.
Rayleigh decided to kick Kizaru to back him off but when, they both decided to get serious both went to their Swords.
Is Kizaru a Swordsman ? Yes.
Why?
Oda gave Kizaru a famous monumental weapon in Japan this points to Kizaru being a swordsman also fighting a top tier went for his sword
it’s 2020 the manga is coming to a close .. this shouldn’t be to complicated

He doesn't have better Haki as we know. She was able to no sell Gear 4 so she's at a pretty special level. Mihawk's just liable to take more pride in his sword and we haven't seen armament sustained throughout a whole fight yet anyway. He could break it in a fight by being more talented and getting it at the right time. We haven't even seen Big Mom coat Napoleon yet.
Big Mom is legit with a sword but I don't think her skills compare to Mihawk. Jinbe probably wouldn't block the WSS with his bare arms. Yoru vs Napoleon =/= Big Mom vs Mihawk

The thing about Kizaru is a technicality. He has sword skills, like Kuzan... but they don't use swords. They're logia users. It's not a named blade but a named attack, just like the mirror. Kuzan isn't a spear user because of his Partisan attack.
From the times we saw Kizaru he hasn't opted for a sword but used one in defense of being attacked with a sword the one time.
You can consider him a swordsman if you want but what I'm saying is that it's different from Ener for example, a logia who could obviously make an electric weapon but is a weapon user because he uses an actual staff. Likewise Sabo and Croc.

- BM never calls herself swordman,
- never trained in swordmanship from childhood /teenage life..
- in fact she created her Hat Homie when she was already Top tier, yonko level. 25-20 years ago.
- The world doesn't even name her among WSS candidates .
- Oda never called her swordman.
- Her dream isn't to be the best swordman or whatever nonsense
- Mihawk never challenged her or WB or Kizaru because they aren't swordmen.
Anything else fanboys are writing is nothing but fanfiction and delusion
BM at her best is when she has her main homies + napoleon not when she has only one homie or no homies.
She brawls, snipe, cuts, etc...
She fought God valley with a gun, (the biggest battle ever in OP world so far. )
Fought Kaido with napoleon (she had no other homie)
Fought Luffy/Capone/Queen bare handed
Fought with homies vs Judge/Jinbei...
she can make a new homie and fight, she adapts to the situation.
If BM is swordman then why did Posthawk not challenge top tier BM? Shanks wasnt even Yonko candidate when Mihawk sought him for duels... BM was top tier way before Posthawk and Shanks, shanks was a mere apprentice when BM was Top tier.
Why doesnt the world view BM as swordman?
We see pirates challenging Yonko coz they wanna be PK yet Mihawk never goes to Tottoland to challnge BM un a sword duel
