Whatever you guys are calling "PoL" is nothing but a subset of Haki.
Will power drives haki.
We can have different motives to drive the will power and push us beyond our limits.
In short,
Motives drive us to pursue our goals -----> form basis to fuel our emotions and will power ------> build our actions or in this case Haki
In case of Luffy and Zoro,
To become PK or WSS -----> Determination to get strong ----- > haki
For Sanji,
Protecting others especially women -----> power of love ------> will power getting driven ------> haki
