Is he a swordsman though? Just having a sword means jack - would you call Linlin a swordsman? I wouldn't

Anyway, appearances change, shaving facial hair etc. isn't drastic by any means. He's 99% not Gin but, what if he were?

Well I guess he could also be wearing a wig like Denjiro. But the fact he carries a Katana as well makes me more inclined to believe he uses it alot.

I feel if Oda wanted him to be Gin he wouldnt have given him a Katana or he would have given him his signature weapon from the Baratie arc.

TBH i think that, if guys like Gin were to reappear, it would be Elbaf

Elbaf means Fable - like a fairy tale

I think Elbaf will be where a lot of characters come back: Crocodile, Daz and Revolutionaries for definite imo, possibly Shanks etc. like it would be the "happy ending" style part of the story where Luffy reunites with close allies and enemies etc.

Sanji and Gin could reunite there. That would be cool

His cat theme is also making me think he met Kuro after leaving the Baratie. And took his crew members.

I actually think that a lot of humans are portrayed as massive to look intimidating, but when they're less intimidating they suddenly get drawn normal height

e.g. Crocodile - was 3m+ like Doffy, Admirals etc. in Alabasta but in MF wasn't much taller than Luffy

I wouldn't be surprised if EOS the Admirals are now drawn at normal height etc.

Of course some characters will be huge anyway, like WB, Kuma etc. but yeah the 3m tall humans are a perspective trick imo

The cat theme is interesting though. I hope he has a Smilodon Ancient Zoan
