Even if he asked wbp about who was second commander and heard the name oden then it still doesn't Imply that ace knew oden is dead.

Ace only met o Tama and don't tell me you expect ace to ask o Tama about oden about whom ace has no prior info or interest.

Why would the conversation be:
"Who was tbe former commander"
"A man named oden"

And that's it.

That's all anyone will ever say and that's all ace will ever want know.

The whitebeard pirates sailed with this man for four years. They were present for the birth of his children on the moby dick. They loved this man.

They know he's a ruler of a mystical hidden land called wano.

But you are claiming the conversation will begin and end in those two lines. Ace asks. They say his name and nothing else.and the conversation ends forever and ever amen

Shanks became a yonko after kaido, no way he could destroy him/them. If anything he would have a harder time as he was still gaining recognition but thats not the topic anyways. The problem is why shanks didnt do anything nor wb.

Shanks is one of most well informed pirates ... he even have info that Gorosei don't (as it seem)

when he become Yonko 6 years ago ... I'm sure he was able to win his war ... he had his top members of crew

Do these two never talk? Does no one ever reminisce about Oden and his family from Wano? Does Ace never talk about his adventures or Izo his?

Ace talks to Little Oars Junior about Wano over a hat but never talks to Izo or Whitebeard or literally anyone else about Wano because?....

1. Nobody in Oden's timeline including WB could beat and remove Kaido away from Wano for the next 20 years.
2. Oden wanted to do it alone

I believe oda should have taken a hiatus once a year for a month, so that he can plan the story better.

Let's assume that ace didn't talk to izo but to WB about wano condition.

But what if wb stopped ace from revealing it to izo because oden was already dead and information that came out was that whole kozuki family is dead.

So what if wb stopped ace from telling izo and also didn't wage war against kaido because that would mean waging war against another yonkou (to mention World government won't allow it as it would disturb balance of power) for someone who is already dead.


Why not then wait for joy boy to arrive after 20 years which I think wb believed that it's ace as he was willing to make him pK?

Whitebeard Pirates not knowing Oden's status and Toki's DF + prophecy are most trash things Oda did.

I wouldn't be surprised at this point if Dragon or Luffy is Joy Boy I mean his reincarnation and one of them is a child of the prophecy.

Like I said, this is the biggest plot hole in wano. Oden was friends with 2 of the yonko. Inuarashi and nekomamushi escaped wano and were chilling for 20 years on zou.

Oda needs to give an explanation as to why Inu and Neko didn't simply go to whitebeard, shanks, or rayleigh, and tell them that Kaido killed Oden.

Literally all they would have to do is tell one of those guys and this would presumably have been over a long time ago.

There are millions of blonde people in the world. Hair color has no bearing on it. The hat is the only thing that should had reminded him of Sabo, but again, as far as Ace is concerned, Sabo died with a big explosion. There was never a reason to think that Sabo would survive, let alone become a famous and powerful Revolutionary.

Sabo thing is not PIS-free, but it is much more acceptable than WB not knowing about Wano.

Ace was a really stubborn person. He went after BB for killing Thatch even though WB wasn't interested in it.

I doubt WB could've talked Ace out of anything. This actually brings up another question. Why a stubborn person like Ace didn't come to rescue Tama?

I'd like to think that whitebeard and the others knew about it, tried to stop kaido, but failed. It wouldn't be irrational. As we saw, Wano is extremely difficult to get into.

The big mom pirates themselves tried to enter the country only for them to get knocked back by king. Unless you know about the secret pass, which I don't think anybody does, the only way to get into wano is by the waterfall. Unfortunately, however, Kaido himself as well as his strongest commander both have zoans that make them masters of aerial combat.

Due to this, while Kaido might not have been able to defeat the whitebeard pirates in an actual battle, he could easily prevent them from invading wano by simply knocking them off the waterfall like King did to the big mom pirates

Finally!! Yesterday, @Igor_akainu_redog was so adamant about it not being stupid.

Th fact that Ace came to Wano and told WBPs about it and the fact that Izo is from Wano really makes the whole thing into a big plot-hole.

If it wasn't for Ace, I would've accepted Marco's explanation that they never knew about Wano's situation.

Again with this? Ace did NEVER Tell then he was in wano, he Tell oars and ONLY because of the hat , and oars is a capitain of other ship. WTF

invading wano is a harder task than beating kaido himself and its due to this that whitebeard probably gave up on doing so. He figured it would be better to mourn Oden's death and get over it than fight a war he might not have been able to win and get more of his crew killed in the process.

1) Roger told wb about laugh tale and ancient kingdom and I am sure about prophecy.

2) ace joined WB many years after Roger death and let's assume ace told everything about wano to WB. But, by that time three big changes occurred


A) oden was already dead many years ago


B) waging war meant going against another yonkou which World government would definitely won't allow as it would disturb balance of power

C)WB saw ace as someone who is carrying legacy of Roger and wanted to make him pK. This means for WB, Ace was that joy boy.



So, how come does wb revenging oden and fighting kaido makes sense? Can anyone explain?

Just bad writing. Nothing more. Just like the worldwide famous 2. no of the revos sabo, whom ace has never heard of, or seen in any newspaper/bounty picture.

Honestly, he should really do that. Getting a chapter almost every week is nice, but if the story suffers from it, I would much rather have many more breaks and a consistent story.

To think that some people were salty (mostly on Twitter), when I stated that OP is a nice read, but can't hold a candle to HxH, Kingdom, Jojo and Berserk in terms of storytelling ...

All I know this 20 years is probably the worst thing on all of this. Who would let their country suffer to only fulfill a prophecy? Isn't the series about freedom? Then you have a number of characters act out of it because they choose to believe in some bullshit prophecy that can maybe happen in 20 years? This is some Mayan 2012 Apocalypse stuff...
That destiny shit goes all the way against everything One Piece stands for... Kishimoto made the same mistake when he literally made Neji's words true by the end of his series.
