Speculations To ZKK deniers, when will Enma turn black?

#25
if turning a blade black was simply fulfilling the will of the sword , is it really in anyway impressive?
I would like to think its a lot more complicated than that , maybe it has to do with one's armament mastery
but personally I have always seen it as a powerup reserved for future arcs since the only swordsman who currently has one is the strongest one and we are supposed to believe zoro is still significant ways off from that.

if zoro were to leave this arc with a black blade for hypothetically killing kaido after luffy defeated him
it would honestly justify the argument that forging a black blades has little correlation with one's strength as characters like shanks, oden, roger , rayleigh all in their primes are no doubt stronger than zoro who just forged one.
Well, personally I don’t believe blackening a random blade makes you stronger than someone who didn’t blacken their own blade.

But blackening the same blade that someone else failed to blacken does narratively make you stronger than that person so when Zoro blackens Enma, that will signify him surpassing Oden which fits perfectly with him being the monster samurai that Kaido is waiting for. That won’t make him stronger than Roger/Shanks just yet though.

llet me rephrase
we have no idea what the goal of sandai as a blade is .
It won't. He's taking the nidai
And that will turn black after beating the shodai and becoming the apex kitetsu

surpass oden in making black blades sure
surpass oden in strength ? NO
it wouldnt since it has little to do with strength as you said rather circumstances such as not being robbed of a fair fight .

I dont think zoro is going toe to toe with kaido after this arc , oden was .

meh if Kaido really does acknowledge Zoro as the monster samurai, that would be him putting Zoro on the same pedestal as Oden so if ZKK happens, I don’t see how anyone could argue that Oden > Zoro.
