It appears that the Legendary Lord for Cathay for the upcoming Shadows of Change DLC has been confirmed along with a candidate for the Tzeentch Legendary Lord now being likely but not yet confirmed.
10 minute video covering Yuan Bo the Jade Dragon (seemingly confirmed) and his fight against the Changeling of Tzeentch in a new lore book.

The Shadows of Change trailer has been released. This DLC adds a new faction as well as new units for Cathay, Kislev and Tzeentch.

All right, looks like all of this week's news has been released.

A gameplay showcase for the Changeling has been released showing off his campaign mechanics, abilities and the three Tzeentch units that come with the Shadows of Change.

Aye, the price hike for this Lord Pack DLC is pretty unpalatable. A statement was released that basically said "Costs are up, so we're hiking the price up. This is non-negotiable. We don't care if you don't like it."

Hiking a Lord Pack DLC up to a Race Pack DLC is flat out bullshit though. Had they priced it to be similar to the Champions of Chaos DLC, that would have at least been a bit more believable. Having it exactly the same as the Chaos Dwarfs is nonsense.

None of the races in the pack appear to be getting any notable reworks though unlike with the Champions of Chaos. Tzeentch factions just have some minor tweaks to their Changing of the Ways mechanic. Cathay has had its Yin/Yang balancing mechanic be downscaled to a provincial balancing act rather than a faction wide balancing act. That just leaves Kislev and considering they look like they got the short end of the stick on units, I don't expect any notable rework for them.

I have money so that aint the issue

This isnt worth 25$ AT ALL. For god sake grim and paunch was less abd that reworked entire race, gave 3 LL and more

Indeed. That is the point. There just isn't enough in this DLC to justify why it is on par with a race pack instead of the previous lord packs.

The number of new units for each faction is minimal, there are no new lores of magic (a Lore of Hags would have been nice for Kislev) and the Changeling looks to be the only one of the three lords that looks to be fun. Yuan Bo looks boring (even the narrator for his Let's Play video sounded like he wanted to be somewhere else) and Ostankya looks like she is going to be bland.

This is shaping up to be the worst value DLC that TWW has released.

A lot of stuff just makes no sense

They keep pushing this Tzeentch vs Cathay scenarion, we had it with Kairos and Chick, then we had it with creepy twins being stationed above cathay and now Changeling vs Cathay again. Tzeentch wasn't the cause of Cathay's downfal, it was Orcs and a massive WAAAAAAAAGH after Grimgor killed Ogres.

Likewise, Tzeentch and Cathy aren't two faction people are dying to play. People want EMPIRE, ELVES, TOMB KINGS AND NAGASH.

Esp Nagash, if they wanted to add some cathay content they could have went Vampire Coast and Nagash update where vampires of cathay would get their own LL alongside Nagash and Neferata.

You could charge that shit for 25$ and people would buy it on the point of it just having Nagash

She basically has Drycha's animal units, jumps around forests like a wood elf faction and has a crafting mechanic. The Hex mechanic seems to be the only original thing.

Kislev was clearly the afterthought faction of this DLC. Lol.

Here is a different video showcasing all the skill trees that the three Legendary Lords have.

WH3 is a scam and will always be a scam no matter what price it is. The entire game is a DLC whose only good feature is that it lets you borrow units from other factions if they are an ally.

Get the crack, do not support this company, they have always been bad.
