Because the story follows him, you are reading the wrong manga buddy if you think Oda will dedicade 9-10 different arc's solely to highlight a single straw hat lol. He's their captain and that's about it.

Just because the story is mainly about the MC doesn't excuse the poor treatment other characters receive from the lack of attention from the writer. Maybe if he didn't create so many irrelevant characters in every arc, filled many of the paneld with pointless crap that adds nothing to thr plot, and dedicate his time to pointless side plots that have little impact on the story he'd have more resources to give these more prominent characters the proper treatmwnt they deserve. We're not following only Luffy, but the Straw Hats' journey as a whole, hence the barrel scene in the Pre-TS. Yet according to you everyone else that's not Luffy may as well not have dreams at all or any importance to the plot unless it's at the service of Luffy. May as well rename the series to "The Luffy Show" while you at it.

Arc is going to absolutely have Usopp focus, but Oda also cant afford the luxury it "only" being an Usopp focused arc. WCI wasnt, though it had a lot of Sanji. Wano definitely wasnt. If you consider FI and PH Nami and Chopper arcs for the things they were featured in, same deal.

Elbaf is going to be an interesting time in this series. We dont actually know who the antagonist will be.

- Will it be its own, localized issue with an antagonist weve never been introduced to (Loki, God Elbaf, etc)?

- Similar to the above, but more focused, will it involve Rocks clones and/or the Burned Man?

- Will it be Ohara 2.0 and Akainu commands the entire Naval force to destroy it?

- Would Blackbeard/Shanks be involved if any of the above are featured?

Theres a ton of current possibilities, and its hard to see exactly where Oda is going with it per se. I can see Warland being huge, and Shanks only leaving Elbaf but not Warland itself, and subsequently the Burned Man being somewhere in Warland, just not Elbaf. That also could just bring in Blackbeard and Akainu into the story at that point.


Who knows, but Usopp will be a decent part of that at "some" point in Elbaf. Hell, its also going to technically be Robin "focused", considering Saul is alive and Ohara's revelations were preserved. We may actually find out the true name of the Ancient Kingdom in Elbaf.

The series speaks for itself dude the focus is on Luffy I don't have to prove anything.

Usopp will get focus but Oda wont have luxury to have an entire arc solely dedicated to him, it's not going to happen, same mistake ZKekers did and same mistake Sanji fans did in WCI (but in terms of character Sanji at least got a good bulk out of it)

WCI arc was meant to be the arc of Sanji and under character development it sure was, in the other he didn't get a single fight. This is dubious.

Wano according to some was meant to be the arc of Zoro but Oda totally forget about Zoro subplots (Ryuma grave, swords and swordsmiths, Yasu).

Egghead could have been Franky arc (future island with Franky's idol and "time skip mentor" Vegapunk) but he basically got nothing until now.

Elbaf will not be Usopp arc, he will get some moments but no more than that. As always it will just be Luffy's arc.

Sorry, but you're just wrong jack. No duh the focus is on Luffy, the MC, but Oda can afford to divert some of the spotlight on other characters. All you're doing is excusing poor character treatment, which many of us, including myself, are sick of it. Oda has the time to make the other Straw Hats more relevant to the plot, and build on aspects of their chararacter development istead plastering chapters full of useless crap like Luffy running up to the rooftop, or introducing so many pointless minor characters that simply waste panel time.

No one's asking for arcs to just be about the other Straw Hats, but rather they get a significantly larger chunk of importance to the plot than usual when it's sensible.

Asking for it and expecting it are 2 different things though lol.

I have absolute faith that Usopp will top his own greatest sniping scene in Dressrosa, at some point in Elbaf, but Im not even expecting a direct fight because Oda hasnt given Usopp (and Chopper, and Brook.....) real fights since Fishman Island.

I "want" him to get the focus he deserves. I "expect" it to be somewhat shortchanged (but hopefully surprised). Sanji got tons of focus and didnt even get a fight because Oda considered his cake baking a legitimate form of battle.

Hopefully he plays a huge role in the Strawhat's success (whatever that entails) during the arc

Maybe something involving Prince Loki?

Usopptards stay coping,bro id love it if oda actually gave usopp some development but it aint happening, he's by the far the most trash,boring,undeveloped and overhyped SH...and not because he didnt have the potential to be a great character,simply because oda chose to give him the big mom treatment
