Did you read what i said? Him doing both takes away from the rest, that's why he's mainly combat focused, while adding leadership whenever needed like when Usopp left the crew in water 7. Seems like Beckman is one of the organisers of the RHP and the smartest, Oda can't make Zoro coz they the main crew and every character need some shine.
He gives orders to members, without Luffy he has the most authority in the crew
he checks the situation of the team, like an old father of the team
he calms the ally in tough moments and also sets an agreement
and most importantly, he saves his energy and chooses the most urgently crucial opponent of the game
Sanji challenges Kizaru for a dual (and does not ask Jinbei for help)
TO CONCLUDE: purely a fighter can not make you a real number 2, it just like a young kid proving himself, use your mind instead and only show truly who you are in decisive moments

Frankie is now number 4 in strength. After the disgrace with Saturn, Sanji finally moved into the middle trio with Robin and Brooke. Saturn's Acoc scared Lanji so much that he couldn't move away, but a 10-year-old girl overcame it. Now Landji number 5.

It’s a very long series. If you look hard enough you’ll probably find most of the Strawhats have at least once done what Nami or Sanji has there. Doesn’t change the fact that there’s only one Strawhat whose been called the number 2, right hand man, first mate, why isn’t he captain, gets the big moments that everyone remembers, and it ain’t Sanji.
As for this chapter, it’s an absolute fucking nothing, his fans were all getting set up for him fighting Kizaru and Saturn. Vegapunk had already told them to leave last chapter and picking up a phone ain’t exactly the huge moment I was promised and knew wasn’t happening (although I did think Sanji would at least manage to do more than the square root of nothing)
