General & Others Wano War Is The Worst War I’ve Ever Read in Any Shone!n

I thought it was pretty bad at the time this thread was created and the hate was a bit exaggerated…but then the Nika stuff happened and it became worse than I could imagine.
I was expeciting just the simplest of things: a proper climactic showdown where Luffy gives the villain a piece of his mind. Instead we have Luffy asking the villain if he is having fun.

It’s not the worst in all of shounen, but it’s the worst big level battle in One Piece.

--I don't think I can comment on this because wano is my second arc reading weekly. It has both good things and Bad things and Kaido was a monster. Scabbards , tama , pacing , G5 fighting style , missed fights are bad things

--That being said I have to agree the bad out way the good ; jack fight was nonexistent , queen vs sanji was bad , WW vs Jimbie and King vs Zoro was short , g5 vs Kaido was bad etc etc

--Good things were roof top fight , zoro vs king , Adv coc base/g4 luffy vs Kaido , Kaido lived up to his hype

Well said Ndule, honnestly this raid destroyed a lot of my interest and appreciation for One Piece, which were already strongly tested by the second half of Whole Cake Island arc, as well as by the second half of Oden's flashback and Udon and the treatment of Big Mom and her crew and of other female characters.

This makes me worried for the final war.

Well people were wrong about the Yonko’s power level, it’s that simple lol. Fujitora’s feats in Dressrosa were much more visually impressive than anything Kaido and meme showed in Wano. Oda still knows how to draw humongous feats, it’s just that the Yonko were never supposed to be that impressive/important.

These last chapters have just comforted me in my opinion of Wano war, and yet I fear that it may only be a prelude to what the final war is going to be.

Wano confirms what I've been saying since second half of WCI, Oda can't deliver anymore

Wano war is the biggest disappointment and worst war ever!

There's literally nothing serious nor great about this war.
Wano war:

• Repetitive fake tensions
• Repetitive fake deaths
• Repetitive "coming back up" easily from Luffy and co no matter how many times they get KOed
• Forced drama
• Dragging of plots
• Subplots and subplots
• Enemies like King & Queen attacking their own men (who didn't even betray Kaido)
• offscreen major battles: Dukes vs jack on the roof/ dukes vs Jack/Pero
• Repetitive running scenes (people running around like they are doing marathons or whatever ) *PANELS WASTED
• Main villains don't feel a threat even.
• Conveniences happening
• A kid ...a kid played a huge role in this war to weaken Beast pirates.
• Fights ending quick and poorly
• Yonko fights looking like high tier battle
• Law undying stamina
• Kid's finisher was treated badly
• Linlin’s downfall is poorly written
• Luffy coming back over and over with newer PU
• Gomu Gomu no Mi became Toonforce no Mi
• And more irritating stuff incoming

But wait "the war isn't over yet, Oda knows..." stop!
Oda doesn't know all, that's why he himself admits making mistakes or adding more things which he handled poorly.

I never expected Wano to surpass WCI but this is just too funny at this point
Nothing can save Wano unless Oda does a twist where Kaido and BM beat SN trio then declare victory so alliance escape. 2 weeks later yonko fall.
But he won't do that and Wano war will remain the worst war in Shonen Manga

I'm just talking about the raid not Udon or wano arc in general, just the war itself @

--Kaido lifting onigashima >>> Fuji lifting rubbles ; Kaido's Kaen hakkei size >> Any admiral feat. You can say aokiji freezing water bodies have bigger range but it is useless in combat setting

--Even BM's test attack in fulgora covered half of onigashima

Worst has yet to come. Final where Oda will make every side characters shine more than strawhats. Random allies being more relevant than pirate king. Opposition team will look very bad because he doesn't want side character to look bad even for second.
