General & Others Wano War Is The Worst War I’ve Ever Read in Any Shone!n

It's not comparing Kanjuro to Whitebeard. Whitebeard is just the example of what it takes to take down the cream of the crop. Kanjuro is nowhere in his realm, but he's also not some no named fodder who should die after a couple of slashes. Even Spandam survived getting his spine snapped in fucking two.
Considering that it wasn't his first battle and the fact that his wounds weren't treated + the fact that no one would want help him was more than enough for a character like Kanjuro.

But the main issue is not that Kanjuro can take so much damage, I haven't seen people complaining about Kanjiro's endurance a lot, hell, even Kinemon took advanced CoC haki attack to his head and wasn't ko'd lol. So everyone at this point has come to terms with Oda's insufferable inconsistency, the core issue is the fake deaths. The problem is, is that Oda narratively pushes a death of X, Y, Z character etc. And he even shows us the character dieing, but then that character turns out to be alive.

In before in the future arcs Fuji and GB switch sides, BB kills Kizaru and Akainu sits on his ass in the office
:kobeha:
I imagine Zoro vs Kizaru is likely bound to occur unless Fujitora will not take the sidelines despite he seemed to be against Absolute Justice and also the atrocities the Government is concocting. For sure he cares about his citizens but he might entrust the task to form a new order to the Revolutionaries. 🤔

The death fake outs are the only issue for me but then again I never believed for a second they were actually dead.
I suggest some of you guys that are really not enjoying it right now to just take a break and wait for the Arc to end. One Piece has always had issues but the UPs of the Arcs always overshadowed the DOWNs, wait for this War to end and see if the payoff is worth all these downs because that's how One Pieces has always been.
Most people enjoyed One Pieces before because they were binge watching/reading and their enjoyment takes a heavy toll by following it weekly, specially with the amount of breaks we had this past 3 years, wait for the Arc to end and read it all again.

True, but still there are 3 admirals

You have a serious and honorable swordsman

A goofy but fast and agile fighter that mainly fights with kicks and elemental attacks

A guy who doesn't think highly of women

That seems like the perfect set up for a zoro, sanji and Yamato fight

Zoro already has a connection with fujitora, and a fight between the two, and zoro never finished his fight with him, he promised to never lose against any swordman, him fighting fujitora to fulfill that promise makes that fight more likely

Kizaru seems like the opponents that sanji often fights

Yamato fighting green bull and proving his views on women wrong, kind of fits too

Somebody has to fight those admirals and it seems like a good set up for zoro sanji and Yamato's fights
problem is i don't see fuji and green bull as enemy for me they are allie (they will become allie) green bull is a maybe but fuji i don't see him as an enemy

honestly gb is more like opponent that sanji will fight not kizaru he is womanized like sanji (will eat only if a women feed him) sanji want to feed people green bull didn't eat anything for 3 years

watch this you will find why i think gb is like fuji

I get your point, I also think Greenbull might be like Fuji because he didn't fight him or anything during the reverie, but I still think they're gonna be fought against during the final war since they are marines after all, it's like how aokiji fought the m3 and robin, he's still an admiral and has to accomplish his duties

Fuji is someone who believes in honor on top of being an admiral who has a job to do, I think him being an enemy that gets defeated and gets an emotional conclusion like Kaku did, could happen

As for green bull I also thought he was gonna fight sanji, but given Yamato's introduction I wouldn't be surprised if she fights him

Wano has the worst match-up sequence to date, which is a shame because some of the fights were decent (Robin versus Black Maria). Usopp and Nami needed Big Mom to do their homework. Chopper is useless (doing bitch work doesn't count).

:seriously: imagine this was fairytail

People would be dropping the manga, calling it names...

How would or can you defend wano war with a serious face?
If this was Dragon Ball, Redditors would downvote any valid criticisms and tell you, "You can't criticize this. It's by Toriyama so it's canon."

What wano did wrong. Wsw was nit strong enough. Rtf should have been rt3. Zoro shouldn't have gotten Coc. The scabbard should not have been able to stab Kaidou, big mom shoupd not be put in a box when she can walk through solid land like fucking goku. Getting hit with Zues should put enimes down for slot longer.

Luffy probably shouldn't have casually split the sky. Yamato should have gotten wrecked alot worse(not so bad i mean Kaidou was probably tired) apoo shouldn't be a punching bag and drake shouldnt be making alliances. Also the WG going to wano while theres 3 yonkou there makes no sense. I mean its a really big risk they dont seem to be taking serious. Usopp should have defeated Page 1. Queen shouod have just been an ancient snake. Jenbe should have never fucking sumo wrestled big mom who is an actual nuke who can oneshot Shichibukai and Yonkou commanders and the bmp shouodnt be pushed off a waterfall twice.

Yeah I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that the Wano match ups were not properly coordinated panel sequence wise aside from all other issues lol.

Yonkotards hyped up the Yonko like they were some DRAGON BALL characters, Onigashima is showing that they are are CLOWNS and now their fans are blaming it on Oda for failing to meet their unrealistic expectations :suresure:
Yonkotards aren't the ones to make Gecko Moriah & Caesar Clown hype up Kaido, Oda did that, he's been doing that since 2006.

Yonkotards aren't the ones to make Big Mom come off as an extremely huge threat, Oda did that.

Oda is the one being a clown here lmao
Post automatically merged:

No, Fishman Island was very shit.
As underwhelming as Kaido the hostage taker currently is, or Big Meme currently is, still Hody Jones is a worse trash, least interesting villain, treated like punching bag.
His gang are complete trash too.
Too bad, fishmen which were hyped since Arlong Park arc, are treated as fodders to show off the results of Straw Hats' timeskip training.

Another fail of Fishman Island is, Oda mentioned Fishman Karate Dojo and Mermaid Cafe several times before timeskip. Yet Oda completely removes Fishman Dojo during the arc.

Then the trash scene of Fishman Island villagers all unite together, crying together "save us Straw Hat, save us Straw Hat, save us Straw Hat" then Luffy made an appearance from inside shark's mouth and everyone cheered on him. That scene is really trash and embarassing to watch.

I find the flashback "Shirahoshi saw Hody Jones killed her mom but kept silent about it because reasons" pretty dumb too.

The saving parts of the arc is the ending, Jinbe telling what happened in the world during 2 years timeskip, and Big Mom made a scary appearance in silhouette. Which are not directly related to Fishman Island arc at all.
The part I hate the most about that arc is the blood transfusion scene. Oda should have wrote it in a way that makes Nami have been to be the one to help Jimbe since she has way more of a connection to the Fishmen given her past & relationship with the former members of the Sun Pirates, not Luffy. But because the MC has been & will continue to be hogging the spotlight for the rest of the series, it ended up being Luffy AKA Messiah D. SAVIOR to save the day.

Honestly the only tolerable part is the flashback portion of that arc... just like Wano lol

I am not waiting for the "reveal" or to know the "Secrets".

You are telling me to take the stairs to reach the top of the building to enjoy the view. But, the "stairs" are the issue here. The whole process of reaching the "top of the building/end of arc" is not enjoyable.

There will be deaths and there will be tensions and shocking twists ( this Raid will fail after all)

but for now Oda will do anything possible to make people think the alliance will win

all the scabbards will die, and not in a heroic way , all the monologue they keep having before "their supposed death" is sketchy , only kanjuro will survive because death is what he wants
