Nothing to do with the price, but to do with wanting to keep you as a patient

It isn't talk therapy either
Fixing shit means a client lost. It's a real issue. Not every therapist is unethical like that, though. Usually it's the guys that do charity that are pretty effective and good at healing shit. Look out for people that treat you for free out of charity.

I
The reason therapists don't tell people that is because:

1. Money, waste time on grounding techniques when freeze usually comes from a block in one area of life

2. They don't want to take responsability because they see it as "what if a patient is pushed too far out of their comfort"

So they would prefer to waste years of my life with grounding, get me on drugs, or have me kill myself, than just explain this simple stuff to me
Yes, you need to learn that whatever is terrorizing you isn't that big of a monster. It's like exposure therapy. There is treatment for panic attacks called paradoxical exposure (don't quote me on this; I don't remember). Basically, you simply try to trigger your own panic attacks. So whatever association your brain made that has created triggers doesn't work anymore. You can do that by breathing through your mouth very fast. I really did. I just used VOOAU when I felt it was coming to calm down and tried to go about my day as relaxed as I could about what worried me at a time. VOOAU stimulates the vagus nerve, which calms you down.

I don't know if you are dealing with panic attacks, but there is a lot of good stuff on YouTube about psychology for free. You just have to deal with it. I dealt with my worst crisis in life by simply trying to figure out what was going on by myself. Theraphists are full of shit for the most part. The science is real and is out there, but they don't really care about healing you. WE NEED TO READ ABOUT THIS STUFF OURSELVES.

I really recommend you write all this down into a diary. All bad things that happened. Negative thoughts that usually pop up. When ptsd flashbacks happen and so on... A diary really helps to figure out patterns and triggers.

I am not an expert in this, so I cannot judge. Would just warn you to not believe everything you read.

Bro, my levels of violence are off the chart.

Talk therapy is mostly bogus. You're effectively just paying for someone to listen to you. Ironically, proper community and friends can do a better job at that.
I remember coming out of those sessions furious. I had one therapist straight up disrespect and bully me. Quoting her own words: 'The impression I get from your mom is that she expects me to educate you. " I didn't even have any mental problems back then; I developed anxiety and depression due to domestic abuse and horrible parenting back in my late teens. God, I hope my parents burn in hell.

I apologise for the bluntness, but this is patently false. Psychosis and schizophrenia have significant genetic components that underpin the condition. PTSD, not so much.

Conditions are just groupings to explain clusters of symptoms that you are experiencing. In essence, they're technically not 'real', but an individual who is experiencing said grouping does have what psychosis or schizophrenia is designed to explain. In addition, regardless if you are simply responding to extraneous conditions, your actions/reactions denote a set of behaviour that is considered harmful or dangerous to yourself, society, or both.

An alternate hypothesis is that you only had the mental bandwidth to recognise your patterns of behaviour once you were comfortably outside of your dangerous environment. I know many people who have suffered from mental illness, myself included, who believed their symptoms started way later than they did. Just food for thought.
Schizophrenia, yes, but psychosis isn't a condition; it's a symptom. It means losing touch with reality. A lack of sleep can produce psychotic symptoms in anyone. You are about 50% right in this post.

I appreciate it a lot

Not gonna lie dude I think if you and Logiko talked more you'd get along very well

I'm not dealing with panic attacks though, it's just that basically

I was living in a home where I was abused before, and when that happens, your subconcious maps that place as dangerous, and your nervous system gets signals to go into freeze

But I was doing a lot intellectually, physically, and social wise, and that was giving my nervous system a lot of signals that it was safe

So it was basically like

I'm living in that house = many danger signals

I'm doing amazing = many safety signals

But I stopped doing that stuff, so the safety signals stopped, my body got exclusively danger signals, and it went into freeze

I moved out now, and all I have to do is just do my things, and it thaws the freeze and gets me back to a regulated nervous system ( thaw is the literal term used for it )

I'm not mentally traumatised, just my body

I think you might have missed some posts, but I and others have tried that, and communication failed hard on his part.

That is how PTSD works. It's like a super memory that triggers severe fight-and-flight responses.

@Blax Blah Also, look up TRE (trauma release exercises). This might be what you are looking for and what you need.
Thanks

But it is actually LITERALLY as simple as:

Just follow my goals and routine

Literally, the lifestyle I had is the cure to freeze

That's why, even in a dangerous enviroment, I NEVER experienced freeze until I stopped doing those things, and then the danger signals from the enviroment were all that was left, and freeze started

So now, in a safe enviroment, all there is is resuming my routine

I'm actually on day 2 of it and already experienced A LOT of thawing ( the term used for when the nervous system leaves freeze, fun fact sometimes your body actually warms up out of no-where, due to bloodflow becoming less restricted )

Thanks

@NAMELESS @Okamakama @Logiko

And that is why therapeutic institutions are demonic when it comes to treating freeze of cptsd

Instead of just saying:

Yeah man, go after God, go workout, get some friends, learn some stuff, do what your goals are, and through actions your nervous system finds out it is safe

They give you grounding techniques

Because they think doing too much will overwhelm your nervous system

No offence, but going after god, hitting the gym, spending time with friends IRL and accomplishing goals solved a lot of my mental health problems...

Well, exercise didn't get rid of the underlying issue, though. You are still dealing with background stress in your system; you need to address that. The body is the subconscious mind. You are dealing with psychosomatic symptoms.

Don't get me started on psychosomatic symptoms, man. I used to suffer from severe hypochondria where my body was convinced it was sick and dying all the time. That messed me up. Everyone told me nothing was happening, and it wasn't, but that didn't matter. My mind was attacking me...

The stress was coming from my enviroment, not from my mind, because I was living in an enviroment where the cptsd was caused, and that puts extreme stress on the body and mind, and sends danger signals

What the exercise did is keep it at bay, while I was doing it, and living there

It would have solved it, if my nervous system wasn't also receiving danger signals from the enviroment

Think about it like this:

My nervous system is a PC

Through God, exercising, my socialising, work, I was installing the "rest and digest" OS ( "rest and digest" is the name of the state that the nervous system is in when it's functioning normally )

But because I was abused for 15 years in that enviroment, living there was subconciously installing the "freeze" OS

It was like a tug of war, but the freeze OS could never install and run because there was an antagonist to it present

When I stopped doing that stuff, the freeze OS took over

Since I moved out, my body's not receiving an installation of freeze anymore, no more danger signals, but it's still running it because that was the state it was left in

And I can just install the "rest and digest" OS through those actions, and it installs and runs, and the issue is fixed
