🤔 personally I think there's at least a 10% chance swordsmen existed for hundreds of years I'm positive others besides mihawk and ryuma made a black blade it's very possible she finds one somewhere in old ruins or on a mission somewhere

Or less likely but not impossible she becomes HER and forges her own black blade

With the exception of Mr. 11, she actually didn't defeat any meito bearer so far (Billy of the Loguetown Novel was defeated by Smoker), but still got some good swords here and there... she just need to collect them. It's actually very possible that she gets Yoru after Zoro defeats Mihawk in the EoS.

Making a black blade is another story though. I particularly don't see it happening.

Tashigi surpassing even Oden would be too much for her at least as far as we have been shown.

Oda can always pull a 360 and do whatever he likes but going with the path she has been on so far she has no chances.

I don't think Zoro will ever use Yoru, it just doesn't suit him. Wado Ichimonji will probably jump up a grade after he turns it into a black blade or he'll just get Shodai Kitetsu, I'm not sure yet. Maybe he'll never get a Saijō Ō Wazamono, Ryuma the Sword God didn't have one after all.

If Oda cared about that fodder he would’ve let her be the one to deal with Pizarro on Hachinosu to mirror Zoro foiling Pica. Instead she tried to flee like a coward.

She is no swordsman, and she is undeserving of a Meito. Law was right about her, she is weak and pathetic, she can’t choose how she dies.

It depends how one creates a black blade. If it takes god tier haki, then Tashigi will never make one. If it just requires you to love your blade or some nonsense like that, I can see her getting it.

Her sense of justice involves taking blades from criminals for the true purpose they should serve. She has an uncorrupt view of using swords.

She's going to find a retribution blade or something.

Her entire purpose as a character involves taking swords.... it would be weird if she didn't actually do it at some point.

And at this point... her stealing a crappy blade can go unmentioned. She has probably collected a hundred blades that she just doesn't talk about.

It would be similar to Koby suddenly making mountain size feats... we knew he was training... but not LIKE THAT. That was a surprise.

I figure... if the narrative is going to be GOOD...

Then it requires two things to happen

1. Tashigi must acquire a black sword from a criminal by chance.

2. Tashigi must face off against Zoro toward the end of the series to take his black blade after she has already taken one (or even more than one!) from criminals. Tashigi will lose this fight.

For Tashigi's dream to make sense narratively, she needs to be boasting that she is a threat to black sword users by the end of the series.

My hope is that actually comes true somehow.
