Basically all of the Supernovas. They were all portrayed as fellow competitors for the one piece and I expected each character to AT LEAST get an arc or two that focused on each of them but Oda ended up cramming most of them in Wano and having them all unceremoniously defeated. I had some hope for Kidd and Law but then Oda had both of them run into powerful Yonko and get pushed out of the plot. To make it worse Urouge hasn't even done anything after Sabaody and it looks like he won't be getting any panel time any time soon. Overall they all fell short as rivals and Oda handled most of their characters poorly.

Well I am not optimistic about that happening, and I'm not sure I'll ever forgive how he treated her mother at Wano.
I had these ideas for Compote, for her to the only children of Big Mom to have inherited some of her mother's incredible durability, and she also inherited some of her mother's strength as well.
Other than that and being the closest to their mother in appearance she was also the true motherly figure for most of her siblings, with her being the wisest and most level-headed of the Charlotte children, a role she put herself in to make up for their mother's lack of real parental skills and insanity. As such and like Perospero with whom she has a very close bond even if she often scolds him, she's very respected by the family and has an authority practically equal to the Sweet Commanders.
In addition of her physical abilities, which she uses in a dance-like fighting style with her being surprisingly fast and agile for her size, and her haki abilities, Compote has the Fruits and Vegetables Devil Fruit, allowing her to grow, control and uses fruits and vegetables at will. She uses her df in battle by using healing or stamina restoring fruits as support, as well as using giant beanstalks roots like the Great Jack at Skypeia, explosive pineapples, stinky fruits to intoxicate and choke enemies, incendiary hot peppers, acid citruses, electric fruits and fruits seeds as bullets as offense against her foes.

Streusen as Big Mom's parental figure and the one who turned her into who she is, as well as surely the only person able to calm and influence her to some degree, as well as him being stated to be stronger than he looks and his devil fruit.
There were surely more to be done with him and his relationships with Linlin, as well as with her children and grandchildren and the other non-Charlotte members of the BMP, and with other former Rocks Pirates members.

1) Zoro: he had great potential until Thriller Bark arc. After that everything went downhill. Would have been a great character if he never joined the clown hat pirates.
2) Big Mom: no explanation needed for her I guess. She had character issues even in WCI but Wano ruined her completely.
3) Smoker: he was amazing pre-ts, probably best marine character back then. After that everything went down, mostly due to introduction of haki
4) Kidd: given one of the most OP DF but with no creativity in its usage. He has written to make same mistakes again and again.
5) Dragon and Mihawk: both never given proper focus to shine
6) King: his ability is still unclear. He had good connection with Kaido but that was forced down our throat. There was no natural progression of his connection to Kaido and his background.
7) Kaido: the single reason for his wack characterization was too much oden glaze.

Jack had lots of potential as well, with him being presented as such a serious threat during Zou arc, and him being younger than the other Calamities only for Wano to be unkind to him, to bossed around by the other Calamities and injured so fast and easily by Ashura, and to not be even shown using haki, having a proper hybrid form or other skills with his devil fruit.
