What happens to king in the future?

King is most likely defeated. Yet the mystery built around his race, whose sole survivor he is, holds strong implications for the future.
  1. Said to be a race of gods who lived on the Red Line, a territory now belonging to the World Government and the World Nobles.
  2. The World Government still holding strong interest in any bit of information regarding members of that race, following Zoro's question, just what his race is and why it would be of such concern to the WG
  3. Queen too talking about his race and specifically advising Sanji to ask King himself, why his race was exterminated.
It seems like a topic Oda wants to bring up in the future, in relation to the story revolving around the world government and ancient races (maybe even the moon race?). Would King be involved directly? Especially since he deserves revenge for his kind.

I can imagine that King becomes ally in some sort, since the flashback hinted he wishes for the world to change and could see Luffy as someone truly capable of doing, as the reincarnation of Joyboy. But in which context? With the Government already present, they could try to capture him as well. Might Zoro even be the one to save King after such a formidable battle and curiosity of his race?
Especially, since King would have nowhere to go after Zoro killed Kaido. :kappa:

I think Arbel would have a hard time allying with the Straw Hats and their extensive allies, except against the World Government. If Kaido dies and if Arbel isn't imprisoned in Udon, I can 100% see him leading some of the Beast Pirates (not Queen, Jack, Who's Who etc) against the World Government End of Series.

And, from the way the last chapter hit me, I kinda feel like he'll play some small role end of series anyways. His connection to the WG is pretty big and Lunarians are likely to have one or multiple story beats in the final saga.

Holding a funeral for Kaido after ZKK is a safe bet. :mihanha:

He will probably follow Marco's path after that and show up for the final war. :ace:

Marco, Katakuri, Arbel, Law and Sabo unite to take on the Gorosei as the Monster Trio + Yamato fight the Admirals :steef:
I still think only Luffy and Zoro will individually face Admirals (Akainu and Fujitora respectively), if only because I doubt the (other) SNs and the Revos will play absolutely zero part in taking down the Admirals.

To be honest many of zoro's opponents reappeared : hachi, cabbaji, mr.1, kaku, ryuma, kuma, killer. But some others completely disappeared : ohm, pica, monet, hyouzou.

But the first team are connected to important system and crew.
To be honest if Kaido doesn't die, we will see king with Kaido. If kaido dies, beast pirates are finished since King will leave and disappear. Queen is hated by his own crew now.
A crew built by strenght will collapse without a strong pillar. Maybe Jack can take the charge.

I just hope Zoro didn't kill King, he deserves to live :josad:
