Speculations Why did neither Xebec nor Roger not have World’s Greatest Swordsman title?

Why don’t they have the title?

I know I know it can sound completely sully

But frankly : Gaban cut down Sommers hands with a blade

Gaban has wind blade techniques

Gaban has 2 blades and is likely ficking skilled with it

You put Ray face instead of Gaban, a sword in his hand and you look at his feats and you won’t have any problem with this
I mean they likely are equally skilled with their respective weapons but that's neither here nor there
I don't think blades like Gaban's axes and Whitebeard's polearm/naginata can be counted as swords
There's many types of blades that are actual swords like a saber or cutlass, things like scythes and axes aren't considered to be that

But isn't Fuji doing literally everything through his sword?
Like attacks defense gravity pull ect?
I don't really see how he is similar to WB who uses punches like 50% of time in the fight.
So what is the % needed to be a blade guy ?

Fuji barely uses his swords to cut or send wind blades etc
He mostly uses gravity with his blade to crush, call meteors or create holes

WB has more cutting feats than Fuji

Oda thought they werent strong enough, I guess.
The only two known characters that had WSS title were the forgers of Black Blades and unparalleled powerhouses.
Meanwhile, Roger and Rocks had plenty of people who paralleled their power and neither were capable of forging Kokutos.
The 3rd character who is guaranteed to be WSS and will have Kokutos is the strongest character of all times.
Oda doesnt want to spread WSS among countless of people, just like he doesnt want to spread Sun God among countless Gomu no mi users. 3 Sun Gods and 3 WSS only.

Roger and Rocks were considerably weaker than Mihawk and Ryuma, as well as EoS Zoro. Ryuma literally single-handedly made the strongest organisation in the world back off from Wano. We saw that Rocks single-handedly couldnt do any in Mariejois. This is also why Mihawk comes last, because his power will be far above anything seen before him.

Both were the strongest of their eras and both wielded a sword, so why have they never been given the WGS title by Oda?
The same reason neither of them were WSM

these titles were created by the very people who had them

Whitebeard’s WSM title was created when whitebeard’s power reached a level when he could end the world. This is the only reason ever given for whitebeard’s title. The fact that Sengoku said Whitebeard can end the world. (note that there is no mention of Whitebeard being able to defeat anyone in combat). That’s why Whitebeard had the title When Roger was still pirate king

The WSS title was created when Mihawk went around the world to fight anyone worth fight until it was clear he was the strongest swordsman in the world. (This is why Ryuma didn’t have this title, he never left Wano). Roger and xebec were obviously the strongest swordsmen at the time but they didn’t go to West blue and south blue to make sure that they are strongest, Mihawk did. The title was created when the feat itself was cemented.

Kaido’s WSC title is the one that has the most dubious origin since it seems to exist purely based on the rumor that Kaido cannot lose in 1v1 combat. And this is a thing people genuinely believe too. This is the one title that has no feat associated with it. It’s entirely based on hearsay.

You mean "Swordsman"? Fight exclusively or almost exclusively with your sword (like Zoro Mihawk Oden ect).

Fuji barely uses his swords to cut or send wind blades etc
He mostly uses gravity with his blade to crush, call meteors or create holes

WB has more cutting feats than Fuji
But in the end of the day he uses his sword for everything in the fight no? Like we know that blunt force attacks also count as swordsmahip since last chapter and we also know that you can enhance your swordsmahip with DF like Brook so i don't really see why Fuji doesn't count as well? Yeah he pulling meteoris and uses gravity but it is still done through his sword. For example Zoro discounted King as a swordsman not because he was creating magma Dragons through his sword but because he was using different fighting styles. And it's really the only criteria that manga gave us to exclude someone from being a Swordsman rn.

Although i think that meteors and gravity are a tricky one and quite debatable.

Oda created the titles specifically for WB, Kaido and Mihawk. Just like BB didn't get WSM after killing WB or Luffy didn't get WSC after beating Kaido there is good reason to believe that there was no WSS title before Mihawk. They are character hype titles to show the individual strength of those
This basically. Its like asking "why xebec nor roger not have the world's strongest creature/man title?"
Mihawk also is primarily a swordsman and then a pirate while roger and xebec the opposite. Dont think they actually cared at all about that title. Why to be the world's strongest swordsman when you can become the pirate king or the king of the world. Mihawk stated that in east blue saga too.
