No not that although it would be cool too, I meant the ratings system(optimistic,funny,like,dislike,agree,disagree,etc) :p

Former OJ member, when the forum closed, I went to Thrillerbark.
3 days ago, I missed the old OJ, decided to google it, see what people think about what happened, saw a thread on Reddit saying there’s a forum where a former OJ member (Bogard) established a community similar to what we had on OJ, decided to join right away, and I can’t be more happy that I did :catsweat:

I can tell you for 100%, no one knows me at AP, because I wasn’t active there. Even I have an active account there (2008). I was active all the times at Vegapunk-Forums (shutdown in 2010), INPforums (shutdown in 2012). Of all forums I was like 200% active at was INP. I was staff there, and I miss INP so much.

INPforums aka InstantZ. They subbed Thriller Bark arc, and they used to scanlation ONE PIECE and other manga.

Ouh, so why did i decide to sign up at worstgen...

Initially i was part of a german One Piece Forum a few years ago. There i was mostly silent, just wrote every few weeks, Nothing notable. But that it got extremely salty there, like no one were enjoying one piece anymore. So i decided to not visit that page anymore, didnt wanted to ruin my fun with One Piece. So i went to OJ, cause that seemed to be the biggest community.
But i didnt got well along there. Not that People weren't friendly or active or smth, but it was so big, all People knew each other, i felt kinda ignored by Posting stuff. So... i went to be a silent Reader all over again. Wasnt a big issue anyway. Then OJ went near Closing and @playa4321 then told About @Bogard and that he is Building an own page.

I was really Looking Forward to it, cause it would be a new page, a new community, something where i can be part from beginn with, building it up, and can get the Connections into the community. I loved the idea, so i went here Pretty much when bogard opened the first Version. And when it came to my ears bogard needed some Moderators, i wrote him my application, which was, respective, Maybe over the top. But i was pretty excited.

And sure, i am still excited about being part here and i found a lot of great People to have good discussions, fun, ideas, theories, games… even some competitions and a rival. Even tho he stands no Chance.

I wrote it pretty formly, like when i went for a real Job application. Wrote an longer Essay About my experience, my personal life (when conntected to that "Job"), my strength and weakens, About my timeframes for the Forum and stuff. It was Pretty much and i am sure Bogard was firstly kinda surprised About it. :D

Yes chapter discussions bring the biggest fuel to a manga forum overall

And hence its notoriety

This really looked like a fun place which it is and its honestly one of the best experience I have had concerning Internet discussions.

In addition, the forum is extremely well designed:

- It saves whatever you are currently writing :owo:
- We are always alerted quickly when someone replies to your posts or a specific thread (makes discussion smoother) :catrude:
- We can post images from pretty much everywhere so far :blobevil:
- A lot of established fan clubs where you get lots of discussions and tons of fanarts being shared :catpole:
- Not having active politics threads is a god send:catsweat:
- The smilies choice is hilarious and good fun :super:

All of this is paying off in pure numbers. Arlong Park forums is known as the biggest for the One Piece community but the current amount of replies for chapter 985 is at 298. Whereas, Worstgen is at 770 replies. I know we had a two days head start but the average replies per day at AP is around 33 while Worstgen is at 70.
