He was put there by Kaido because Kaido holds him in such high regard because Kaido faced him. But the him Kaido faced was an Oden years after he sailed with Roger. And we have no way of knowing if Kaido ever faced Rayleigh or not.

But that’s a huge hype for oden to get mentioned alongside 4 goats
plus an oden not even in his prime clashed with wb and tanked a named attack from roger

Roger Pirates parallels is really just something I’d use as a small bonus argument rather than the main basis for anything. Gaban’s role is basically non-existent so far, and Zoro = Rayleigh... eh, they have things in common, but it’s not nearly so obvious as the Luffy/Roger connection.
Plus, we now have Oden, who has bits of both Luffy and Zoro in him.
Sanji‘s done enough- even with his at times downright dismal post-skip performances- that you can argue for him without bringing up the Roger Pirates.

That's basically because all of them made a significant impact in Kaido. If not, everyone that wasn't compared to them is weaker than Oden. Which means that Garp is waker than Oden, Sengoku is also weaker than Oden, bullet is waker than Oden, Akainu is also weaker than Oden... etc etc. Worst logic I've seen so far.
