Character Discussion Why do people put Shiryu as Blackbeard’s Right Hand Man?

I don't think the right hand man concept does fit for blackbeard's crew. Tech himself stated that he don't trust those wild guys.
His crew is replica of Xback crew , bunch of strong dudes together with no bond and loyalty.
The right hand man should be trustworthy, should have bond just like Roger - Rayleigh , Shanks - Beckman! I don't see such deep bond , trust and loyalty between Tech and Shyiryu and even with his other crew..

Well Blackbeard's personality is very selfish but I feel like Shiryu is the only man he also doesn't deem to be just a mere dog. Of course he still deems him to be someone who has been working for him.

Look at it this way. A second commander is a special place in Whitebeards crew. Perhaps it's the same for Blackbeard.

Lafitte is Blackbeard's Chief of Staff a.k.a Right Hand Man. And that is rightfully so as the guy seems to be the most loyal to Blackbeard, threatening to kill anyone who insults him, even fellow crew members.

I think nobody really puts Shiryu as BB right hand man, he's probably the strongest but Burgess seems to be the true right hand man since BB trusts him more (pretty sure he was the first one to join Teach)

I would infer that Sanji may fight off Burgess assuming Burgess will get stronger but it's also too soon to really infer something except for Usopp v Van Auger or Luffy v BB or Shiryu v Zoro.

The signs point to it being Pizarro more than anyone else. He's Captain of the Fourth Ship, while Sanji is the Fourth to join the crew. In the WB Pirates, Thatch (The cook of the WB Pirates) was Captain of the 4th ship. Pizarro is a former King from North Blue, while Sanji is a former Prince from North Blue. Pizzaro, being labelled The "Corrupt" King, is the embodiment of the type of ruler Sanji hates the most, just like Judge.

From their backgrounds to how their personalities would clash, the safest bet is Sanji vs Pizarro at EoS.

Because Shiryu was portrayed as the most powerful after BB during the Summit War saga and that he's obviously a more non-nonsense and serious guy and threat than Burgess.

I dont think BB has an "official" right hand man to be honest, kinda like Luffy's crew....Theres just psychos and killers in his crew and in a crew like that the stronger are bound to "rise up" in ranks, i think people consider him ahead of Burges because he struggled against Sabo? Too early to tell who is stronger at this point though, spcialy considering Burges might also eat a DF later.
