Questions & Mysteries Why do you just assume Sanji defeated Page One?

Is the Anime Reliable?

It actually doesn't matter at all. Sanji at the first use of the RS, without DJ, hardening, HM and whatever he has up his sleeve, seemed quite stronger than P1. Without even a named attack.

I think he defeated him because otherwise the whole fight would be meaningless but who knows?
The fight was meaningless unless Sanji intended to kill Page One. There was still over a week left until the raid, so even if Sanji beat Page One, he'd probably be in tip top shape for the Fire Festival.

The One Piece's anime version is in fact unreliable. I don't even follow it,as One Piece's original format is comics and comics are what i really love.
But i must say,The episode showed exactly what i have been imagined that happened: Sanji had some more clashes with Page One and landed some more attacks in him offscreen, but runned away right after.
What refute it: Beasts Pirates's forces were totally unworried after that, and would be in alarm if Page One really had going down. And when Drake first meeted Sanji,he knew Sanji is Stealth Black, what he wouldn't ever listen of a Page One unconscious in ground.

Anime can't change the outcome of a important fight like this one, the first fight in which Sanji used his new powerup.

Don't even mention Raisin'a case, I had to google to recall that fodder's face(btw, he is like a cheap Madara)...he added 0 to the plot

Page1 is different and it's a fact, he is 10 times more important and he is a tank

Sanji was not portrayed as superior in the manga.
last panel of the fight meant nothing.
we did not even know who screamed there.

anime is never canon, but the fight is in line with what I expected.

zero reason to leave the end open like Oda did when it was supposed to be a victory for 1 side.

In case that happens, Sanji is going to oneshot him this time. No time to lose on scrubs :gonope:
Man I don't hate Sanji but he isn't one shotting PO. All he can hope is to put him down after a long strenous fight (manga)

Toei made PO stronger instead for how it looked lel.

Haven't watched the anime, and I never will, lol..

But my opinion on this is the same as before.. Sanji and Page One had a brief skirmish, and right after Sanji delivered a blow, he used his invisibility to escape... Page One is an ancient zoan, and is strong; Sanji used the raid suit for the first time, and used this fight to test out its abilities.. In other words, he's adjusting to it.

It's a fight so meaningless that it makes sense for Oda to just skip the whole thing.
And I think we'll definitely see Page One again in Onigashima

Because Sanji made it clear that he intends to take P1 down and that he will make it quick. Why would he just leave after that speech about how recruiting people is great but taking out some of their people works too? And the whole reason Sanji attacked P1 in the first place was because he was destroying the city. People should know by now that Sanji wouldn't just leave and let P1 keep destroying the city.
