General & Others Why don’t they cut?

Roger, Whitebeard, Xebexc, Shanks, and Oden all use blades but only 1 of them truly focuses on the cutting aspect of having one. That guy being the only one of them capable of scarring Kaido

Their best blade attacks seem to be blunt or internal damage
Why do you think that’s the case? Either within the actual story or a more meta reason from Oda?
