And yes i did ask for a ban cause Oda wrote Kid badly vs shanks.

You said it just like that and then ran away for the 6th or 7th time. At this point we lost count.
And yet we're the ones going at it with Zoro fans for months since Wano ended while you ran away like a coward just to get bullied on NF's as well.

I wouldn’t say he fails to disappoint with zoro.
I think for folks who find it hard to like luffy if you want a character who is also prominent , who is fairly strong and ultimately guaranteed to reach their goal he’s the next viable alternative.
Since one piece is so clearly lacking in a prominent rival for luffy a la sasuke/vegeta, that seems to be the conclusion.

Kid fan: "KId just got one shot by Shanks? Fuck this, I'm a Zoro fan now....."
I'm not even a Kid fan, and I would argue anyone that the dude will be back stronger.... He just got setup against Shanks, like how Luffy was setup against Kaido.... Dude ain't done by a long shot.

Idk perhaps that sort of assurance is because luffy is in fact the main character in the story. ………
Not sure why you think this is a flex. Certain folks got beat on the roof and had to relegate themselves to other fights , and others get 2 power ups until they take kaido down. They aren’t treated the same.

To me the whole situation seems like a huge bait and switch. If you look at Law, he got a lot of focus and Ws ever since Punk Hazard, which set him up to take his major loss against Blackbeard.
Kid has constantly been taking nothing but Ls since post skip began. So much so, that it came as absolutely zero surprise to most of the people that he lost to Shanks the way he did.
For someone to be so heavily L focused, despite being built as as a potential future rival of the Pirate King, to me it feels like something is going to give at some point, and his character progression is going to do a huge 180.
I've been following the series long enough to know better than to not think Oda doesn't do things on purpose, and for a reason.
I could be wrong, but I just get this nagging feeling that everything Oda has put Kid through, is going to have some payoff at the end.

am sure he can come back and do something relevant
but the real issue is the payoff. will not match the kickback prior
neither law or kidd will come back and beat shanks or blackbeard after those two massacred them .
