Naruto too started to go downhill towards the end of the Pain Arc. Pain vs. Kyuubi was one ridiculous display in both filler and animation. After the Danzo fight, I honestly stopped watching the Anime. Just took a glance at some scenes in the war arc; it was ridiculous.
People saying using filler Naruto style is better probably weren't watching it weekly... I remember suffering years of filler before they got to Shippuden.

I agree, one piece way in dealing with fillers is much better, even if the pace is slow, you can just stop watching for months or weeks depending on your pace and then watch many episodes, but in Naruto you have to wait for years before the fillers end
From OST to fight sequences to pacing (excluding filters) to voice actors, everything is beautifully executed in Naruto through the years, but in OP, it's below average just like any other 90 series that's aging with the new gen, but can't keep up with it.
Two different studios and thats it. In terms of entertainment then Naruto was clearly a more entertaining show because we got fights. One Piece just rather be goofy but its still an action series and again toei is ruining scenes with their terrible animation.
That is subjective.They have different approaches to shounnen.Naruto is kinda sad,lots of drama,smart battles.OP is about adventure,comedy and mysteries.It depends on your tastes actually.
