Anyway, just to make some things more clear, the fandom, or at least this forum, never had yonko = admiral as a form of canon.

I particularly love the Admirals; however, the fandom rushes to think they can compare them to monsters like the Yonko who are much stronger. For example, Blackbeard made Kuzan his subordinate, Shanks made Green Bull dance to the tune of his Haki, and just by existing, Kaido scares Green Bull. Kizaru is repeatedly being beaten by Luffy. I think the hate Admirals receive stems from failed and unfounded attempts to put them on the same pedestal as monsters. Haha

Meanwhile a one handed blow from base Kaido without ACoC knocks Luffy out immediately. Meanwhile Kaido KOes Luffy two more times on the roof top and even kills him with a blunt strike and one shots all scabbards with nameless cocless hits of his club.
Kaido at least has a track record of wasting characters while running a gauntlet and carrying an island through the air for hours.

Before you celebrate your imaginary "gotcha" moment, did i ever say that Kizaru used his Ultimate Technique and failed to one-shot Franky? 
This is the second time we talk this over, you can’t compare Kaido’s 20 year animosity towards Oden’s scrubs, and his clear intent to kill Kinemon, to Kizaru playing with Franky or Bonney (earlier when he tapped her)
Currently Kizaru is out for the kill and was about to cleave both Bonney and Kuma in half before they got saved, that’s killing intent
Why shouldn't i use that as an argument?
Kizaru looks worse than what happened in Kaidou v. Kinemon.

If anything this makes Kaidou look better in retrospect, since we have more "Top Tiers" looking bad for not taking out their much weaker opponents in a single hit.
