Because everyone’s dream is going to end up being related to Luffy.
Nami will chart the world because Luffy will take her throughout the world
Usopp will become a brave Warrior of the sea likely as a way to help Luffy
Sanji will find the all blue after Luffy destroys the red line
Chopper will find the cure for everything while on a journey with Luffy
Frankys dream is Luffys ship
Brooks dream will be accomplished with Luffy taking him throughout the world
Jinbes dream will be achieved when Luffy leads the fishman to the surface.
There’s no reason to assume Zoros dream is the only where Luffy won’t be involved

I understand your point, but I don't agree. Their dream being related to Luffy only diminishes their achievement. I think it's almost an offense for them to depend on Luffy to do them.
Why does mihawk being a fighter make him have to be bonded with Luffy? From the start he is Zoro's goal, Luffy has nothing to do with it like Zoro has nothing to do with One Piece

You act like Zoro won't be there when Luffy finds One Piece or becomes PK or achieves his secret dream. Zoro will 100% get fights that help Luffy achieve his dream.
IF Mihawk decides to ally with Shanks to tie him to the endgame, and IF Shanks is the endgame antagonist for Luffy, that has ZERO bearing on Zoro achieving his dream. Luffy isnt even helping him achieve it. It just makes Mihawk more involved in the endgame plot.
Do you understand this? It's not that hard to get. It's about making sure Mihawk is relevant, not just a sitting cardboard character waiting on some random island for Zoro to fight. That's NOT how Oda writes his story.
It's fascinating to me that "supposed" Zoro fans would want Mihawk to do absolutely nothing except fight Zoro at the absolute end of the series. Like actual zero prevalence in the endgame lol.
Like what if somehow, he and Shanks' relationship involved more than just "friendly" duels? How much does Mihawk know about Shanks' ulterior motives? Why is Mihawk so reclusive?
Realize that his only KNOWN relationship is with a Yonko is going to be relevant after Kaido. He lost his Shichibukai title and a final war is nearing the series' closure.
You want Mihawk to be relevant in the endgame, you best believe he will be tied to some faction by the end, even if it's just a temporary alliance with Shanks or some other group.
I say this shit as an actual fan of Luffy, Zoro, Mihawk and Shanks. I've been arguing that they ARE the endgame to this series. The 2 absolute last fights. The series big climax. Not some nonsense that shits Mihawk as a character or some exclusionary event for Zoro in the endgame. That will not happen, the story is about Luffy. It will end with Luffy.

We literally know nothing about Mihawk, oda can pull a new plot point out of his ass to make him relevant to the end game story if he wants. It’s curious how his eyes are the same color as imu’s though
no need to remove his tittle, the way he belittle his own tittle already speak of it,
if you're proud of your tittle you would need to feel insecure to others.
People act as if we know Mihawk's true motives. Mihawk went into a war he probably doesn't give much of a fuck about, did his thing and left without so much as a scratch or a huff. He was more interested in testing Luffy. So yeah, it was just a light training session for him if anything
