if he can't damage shanks i will be shocked he won't be in my top 25 any more shanks isn't as durable as Kaido or BM
he probably will clash with him few times and will be able to land some attacks

Obviously I understand that, but people are making it seem, like its going to be a miracle if kidd lands a hit. Its going happen. His assign ability is something that could directly help with that and im sure he was has other abilities we haven't seen yet that could also play a factor.
The guy who made kaido feel pain. The guy who knocked out big mom multiple times, broke her hand and made her bleed can and will definitely make shanks feel the same
The issue isn't his durability. I think everyone agrees that Shanks doesn't have Kaido/BM Durability but Oda has to make it look realistic cause nobody is buying that a giant bull made out of metal can reach Shanks before he dodges it or cuts it into pieces

I don't think kid is gonna utilize the same tactics against shanks which he used against big mom. Different fights different tactics. His confidence at the last panel does indicates he has some cards to play with here. It is really not an empty bluster
